[7 days meditation -CHALLENGE] practicing 7 days of mindfulness !

  4. Day 5.
    Today I did a body scan while laying in bed. After that, my favorite guided mindfulness meditation came up on youtube, so i sat up and did that. During the meditation, i thought about a girl i had feelings for in high school. I saw in my mind's eye that she had had a difficult life like me, and she needed my help. I don't know how to reach out to her though, because i don't know where she is. It might be a good idea to learn Reiki so that i can send healing energy out to other people who need it.

    Felt really peaceful after my 10 minutes today and even did 5 more minutes after.
    It really helps when you take a moment to notice how you feel after finishing the meditation.

    4/7 complete: 25 minutes.
    30 tomorrow. Im very happy with my progress so far. I struggle to hold myself accountable at times so I'm grateful you all started this to help keep people like me on track. Thanks.
     
  8. Day 2 complete, at the end of 10 minutes I felt like it wasn’t enough so did another 5 minutes. It was good.
     
  9. Day 6- Did a guided meditation on procrastination today.

    I am going at least 20 minutes on sessions, sometimes 30. My goal is to do a 1 hour meditation twice in one day either this week or over the weekend. Experimenting, it's fun!

    I am on day 5 of both this meditation challenge and nofap. Had some erotic dreams last night that has me wanting to watch porn and masturbate. Have to stay focused on the person I want to become and the life changing benefits nofap will bring me rather than the momentary pleasure of fapping (and then immediate regret). Going to take a cold shower and meditate for 30 min before going to class. Hopefully this will help me push through this part of my journey.

  14. 3 days for me. Have increased the time to 15 minutes. I’m finding it quite beneficial after just 3 days. I will definitely be continuing after 7 days is complete.

  17. Day 7/7 for me as well.

    On some days meditating 10 minutes felt really easy, on some it felt really long and hard.
    Already after 7 days I do feel a bit calmer and more at peace though, so I will try to keep up this practice and eventually do 20 minutes a day.

    Meditation also seems like a really good habit to replace PMO with. Every time the urges hit, simply meditate.

    6/7: 30 min. Had a much easier time focusing and letting go today.
