I've been addicted to porn and masterbation ever since I was 11. It has had a stranglehold on me for about 16 years. I've tried to quit many times longest I went was 4 months without. I asked my friend to help me as embarrassing as it was to setup a internet and app censorship app. He agreed and I was starting to feel normal again and I started getting more into my workouts and even got a girlfriend. Fast forward 4 months and I was on the frindge again my girlfriend broke up with me and I was back to square 1. I was getting depressed and lonely again and started to find ways around my friends censorship by going to pinterest oddly enough and find porn there. It was a damn though because as soon as my friend told me yeah I wasnt even watching and the app asked for money after two days unbeknownst to me. The addict in me went you fool! You should should not have told me that and went back the day he told me. You can't tell an addict theres no accountability because he will go right back to it. I wish he lied to me and told me it was still on. I like it here because you all me included keep each other accountable. Thank you for who ever made this forum I feel better knowing I have support and guidance on here.

  2. We are rooting for you Brethren!!!, try utilizing the day counter here to mark your progress even if it's just in the beginning to build confidence as the days add up. You are accountable to yourself first and foremost. You aren't doing this for anyone but yourself, you are the direct recipient of the self-improvement that you put in. Remember that Brethren.

  4. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profile section..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal, we could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!
