    I am new to this.. 25 yrs old severely addicted to pmo... And I am very much depressed.. Sorry I am not fluent in English forgive me.. So I start my story I first watched porn when I was 14 yrs old(2005 Nov) and I started masturbating when I was 15(2006 dec) but excessive pmo started from mid2012 then I heard about PIED in 2013 Nov so my fight against pmo started in Jan 2014 but still I am fighting, My maximum no pmo is 50, second maximum 40 third 27. I relapsed a lot. I cannot describe it in words I am deeply disheartened I feel like I don't have any hope and I cannot motivate myself and also I am a Indian hikikomori.please someone help me motivate me advice me... Is there any hope for me...

    Of course there is. I'm 25 years old as well. Started watching porn around the same time and I'm still struggling to quit. Everyday I'm fighting but you have to learn from your mistakes. See why you pmo in the first place.

    I'm sure you'll make it. Keep learning about yourself and see pmo for what it truly is ... poison to the mind.

    Brother, we are all in the same boat trying to cross that stormy sea. Yes, it's a tough journey where the path is rough, but patience is the key. You've got to have a marathon mentality to overcome this. And, the same goes for us. But, the good thing is that there is definitely hope at the end of the tunnel. Many people have overcome this affliction. If they can do this, why can't we? We can and we will.

    First I study myself while on relapse. So I can anticipate my triggers. But I cannot be consistent with that because consistency is the true victory. I know what my problems are but I lack purpose.I am in second stage of learning ladder I.,e conscious incompetence. My maximum no pmo is 50days during that period I feel very lonely. Simply I need motivation..and one more thing I never had a real sex in my life so my brain hardwired to digital sex l.e. pornography...so my recovery is a long and slow process... Once again really I need motivation...

    See PMO as the worse enemy you have ever had, because it is. See yourself in a war against PMO, because you are. Now, every day you are PMO free, you have won a battle against the enemy. Don't look at attempting to reach or past 50 days, see yourself in a war and each day is a victory, because it is. Allow each victory add up and soon you will have won the war.

    I can face small triggers. But sometimes I feel intense triggers that's really hard to control. In that time I feel like a drug addict, my heart beat rises, my hand shakes, my mind becomes blank and I don't know what to do. Can anyone have a good piece of advice for that.

    Here is a growing collection of startup strategies compiled from myself and I've added some from others on NoFap. Keep these in mind. This is by no means a be-all-end-all list of suggestions but it is a list for you to use and add to for yourself and modify to meet your needs.
    1. Delete all of the P that you have from your computer and smartphone including the browser history and cookies. This will not stop you but will slow you down.
    2. Identify your triggers. What are the things that you happening in your world to cause you to turn to PMO for escape and comfort! This is the most crucial step in the process.
    3. Once your triggers are identified, determine healthy ways of dealing with those triggers such as exercise, running, leaving the stressful situation and going outside for air.
    4. Go to http://yourbrainonporn.com/ to learn more about the effect PMO has on you. Do this also to educate yourself on the damage you are doing to yourself.
    5. Guard your eyes. Be careful of what you allow yourself to see. No, you cannot live with your eyes closed but you can determine how long you look at something.
    6. Masturbation... do not keep your hands to yourself. Unless you are bathing, changing your underwear or actually using the bathroom, your hands should be nowhere near your penis. YOU ARE BANNED FROM TOUCHING YOUR PENIS FOR RECREATION!!!
    7. Your bed is limited to only the time you are sleeping. No laying in bed other than that. As soon you awake, you should get out of bed. Can't sleep, if awake for more than a few minutes, get out of bed until you are sleepy enough to go to sleep.
    8. Keep doors open unless necessary. You need to be isolated as little as possible. You're less likely to M when people can see you.
    9. Keep curtains and blinds open as much as possible. Similar reason as above and also allows light inside. Many time M'ing is more likely in dark places.
    10. At night, keep lights on as often as possible. Similar to above, lights on may lessen your desire to fap.
    11. If you are a naked sleeper or a boxer sleeper, consider sleeping in a in jockstrap, cup or briefs or compression shorts, something more constrictive so that you are less likely to feel movement while falling asleep or when awaking. They may provide a better barrier to prevent those that subconsciously reach for their penis at night or in the morning. They may also be a visual barrier for those that have morning erections too irresistible to not touch.
    12. Begin a journal so that others can encourage you and connect with you.
    13. Become active in this community. The more active you are, the less time you will spend focused on you. The less time focused solely on you, the faster time goes. There is an old saying, "a watched pot of water doesn't boil any faster", which means for this example, focusing solely on yourself and your issues won't make them go away sooner. It's OK to track progress but when spending more time doing other things that were once important to you and encouraging others, you will notice the time of your sobriety will go so much faster than if you didn't.
    This a journey. Unless you began your addiction yesterday, don't expect to have complete victory by tomorrow. It takes time. We are here for you for as long as it takes.

    I think I am suffering from death grip syndrome. But I don't know what it really do to my body. Can anyone explain it in datail ?. Are there anyone suffering from this ?. Any advice for recovery ?. How much time it'll take to recover ?. Are there anyone recovered from this death grip syndrome ? Really I am scared & confused about my sexual health, please help.

    death grip is when you squeeze too much your penis and the skin becomes flaccid and loses sensitivity. Most probably isn't your case if you're not abusing, or doing prone masturbation.

    Remember to follow what @D. J. posted, he gave you good advice.

    Hello nofap nation, after a long time I am writing a post. I am on my 21st day of no PMO towards the 90 day goal. it feels really great particularly I like this step by step journey. But now I feel little bit lonely. Are there anyone in this group same as me like 21st day. I need motivation i want to travel with you guys. And one more thing I need a advice on, I am going to reward myself with ps4 after that 90day challenge is good or bad. Because gaming initiates laziness in oneself but I am not a hardcore gamer advice me on this.

    Hello nofap nation... So far so good. My anxiety, depression slowly waning but still I have mild chest pain but I am regularly jogging for that. (Guard your eyes. Be careful of what you allow yourself to see. No, you cannot live with your eyes closed but you can determine how long you look at something) I love this point particularly becos we are surrounded by ads with sexual images. I cannot control these ads but I can control myself initially its difficult for me but now I am slowly acclimatising. Still I have depression but I am searching the root cause of that. I need long term support from this community. thanks
