The Bible states that humans were cast out of paradise into an imperfect world because of the Original Sin. Porn is part of that. It was created by man, not God.

 

You have it backwards. Porn only exists because it's profitable. The porn industry chews up and spits out the people in it and ruins their lives.
You should consider that maybe....users are the baddies. There is an obscene amount of nonconsensual material on the internet, especially a handful of sites I will not name that everyone already knows. Even production material is known to be coercive and mistreats the people involved Use of those materials participates in and contributes to the propagation of it.
It's like a person betting on dog fights going "man, how can God allow dogfighting to exist? I've lost so much money on it!" while the dog lays there bleeding.

 

Maybe there is no such thing as a benevolent God.

My view is:
A) God is loving and doesn't have the power to intervene
B) God has the ability to intervene and doesn't want to
C) God doesn't exist

 

Well to be fair Satan is the God of this world he is called prince of the air but his time is running out he wants to take as many souls with him as he can.

 

At one point in my career, I worked in tech for the government. Could you provide a source for your claim that the big companies (mindgeek maybe?) are losing money?

 

Exactly, it’s not about profit. It’s a deliberate attack on humanity. You can say the same about the plandemic which had many industries shut down and people say oh it can’t be a conspiracy because why would they hurt their profits like that? It’s not about profit. The people behind these things print money out of thin air. It’s about control and agendas. Welcome to the machine.

 

Do you realize that porn is free? What percentage of users do you think actually pay for porn? And to the laymen who possibly uses a free site for about 10 minutes to an hour a day, you think that’s doing much? Every other free social media site is about keeping you on the app as long possible for the sake of advertisements. People spend a lot more time on YouTube instagram etc than they do on porn sites. Oh and those sites have a MUCH wider variety of advertisers than porn sites who only advertise other porn sites. Hence why YouTube restricts content for the sake of advertisers. So yeah, something isn’t adding up.

Yes I apologise. Your post just triggered me because you cannot possibly know real history, progress or what is to come. Then to say everyone else is oblivious, I wander where you get this idea. Anyway, I leave it there, food for thought.

 

Why did God create the devil (knowing with perfect certainty that he would fall)? Why is the sky blue? Why ask why?

 

God created sex and we have turned it into an idol like all good things. Also, conquering addiction can bring more meaning to life which isn't an excuse to get into addiction but it can give us the drive to live for Him more

 

I get all this, the smoke and mirrors, the pretend rivalry in big business despite being owned by the same companies, BlackRock and Vanguard. The elites and their satanic paedophilic lifestyles and of course, history rewriting itself etc etc. Seeing all this I wander if humanity has progressed at all? We have not overcome our desire to dominate and posses. Worse still, desire is praised and admired as a functional way to survive. We can call it gods will and carry on despite the chaos and suffering it causes. I see no progress at all, our future is not looking great.

Still we can never know the actuality of the past and the future. They can only ever remain a concept because knowledge in itself it's always an incomplete factor. I wish I could say I really knew the truth about this world, but information is perhaps not the place to look for truth considering its infinate nature.

 

Without sin, we would never learn to love and appreciate God. Earth is Satan's world - the materialistic world. But through worship we can ascend and look beyond short-term pleasure.

 

I really don't get how A makes any logical sense as a hypothesis. B and C, I understand. The thing is if we are defining God to have power over this earth like an experiment/programmer he can change the parameters, right? Then we can assume he has some power to intervene or he can't even be classified as God?

 

Our assumptions could be wrong. I think it's good to think about God in a creative way.

 

One explanation to the problem of evil is that this is the best possible universe. Hard to believe but it could be.

 

But let me tell you. There are countless testimony of times when God has intervened. Real miracles. Go into most churches and just start asking people. It is eye opening hearing their stories. God does intervene. That much I know confidently.
