Fasting Februar challenge: Healthy eating, real life, no porn

    Day 19/29!

    Last week's recap:
    No porn—check!
    Eating window from 5 PM till 9 PM on eating days—fail!
    Min 3 days of fasting per week—fail!

    Did not fast at all this week... :(

    I recommend a steady and rich breakfast (like a king) and not too late. That way your body doesn't start on a deficit and your hunger hormones are curbed for the day.
    At all rate, the most important time to fast (for weight loss) is during the night and before getting to sleep.

    I'm not hungry in the morning. I get only hungry at later afternoon.
    I guess so; I read somewhere that apparently if you eat the same calories right before bed more will be stored to fat than if you eat the same food in the day. Don't remember the science behind it, so might be a myth, I don't know. But problem for me is that I feel the most hungry during evening, even if I have eaten big breakfast and lunch. And if I don't eat I have hard time falling asleep. Which I am tolerating on the days when I fast, but I rather not subjugate myself to insomnia and hunger on my eating days, cause it's annoying.

    February done!
    Recap:
    While it was not perfect, overall I feel I made progress with weight loss, cause I fasted a few days this month, way more days than last month. I also been eating way more healthier too. Focusing on high water and high fiber fruit, as well as high fiber vegetables and lot's of low calorie soups—all this water and fiber fills me up nicely while having very little calories. I lost some weight.
    I kept "fasting" from porn also.
    Ok, I'm out. And thanks for the fun and useful thread! It was very nice. :)

    Hi Ūruz, I also thought about writing a recap yesterday. Well in the end, you're the only participant who stayed until the end and stayed accountable posting here. Well done!
    I would have continued too, if I hadn't been so demoralized by my fails in the different fields. Anyway, I think all in all it was worth it, to make this challenge. My best wishes to everyone!
