    Welcome @Nate75902 @im_alive @K.C_Cage
I'm telling myself: I know urges will come, I've been there before. It's an hormonal trigger and a need for the body to expell the sperm. A primal need for reproduction. But it's no excuse for the mental. So the problem is not the urges, but how i choose to respond to it. Let's find dopamine elsewhere and in a less exhausting manner.

I did make it. Quite frankly, it just feels like another normal day in life. But obviously, I'm very proud of myself to getting to 90 days I will continue NoFap forever. You don't need masturbation in your life. I have yet to be cured from my illness. I still have PIED/ED and desensitization (shows how much porn can really effect you) from the years of abusing chronic masturbation.

YES!!! I thought of this as well on October 1st. This is my first challenge on NoFap and I'm psyched to join. Thanks @maske for getting the New Year's Resolutions underway. I'm currently in the middle of Day 8 of my Hard Mode Challenge. I've made it to 90 before and I'm aiming to do it again. I have a Stickies note on my iMac desktop that I update daily with my count so I see it while on the computer which has been helpful.

A note from my prior experience: Begin planning now for how you want to act on day 91. All-or-nothing thinking can trick us into believing that 90 days = fixed. Remain vigilant as you approach your goal and take care of yourselves (have a healthy reward ready for your success). We can do this! And so much more.

@Freedom440 yeah, couldn't agree more. I also reached 90 days back in August, and not having a clear vision of what would be the next goal made me relapse on day 94 or so. Planning a healthy reward, obviously no pmo related, is a good idea. Maybe go out and buy that guitar you've been wanting for a while? Etc.

I'm really trying to force myself to think that the 90 days are just the start, whereas the real challenge will be pmo free for 2017 entirely. That's why I thought starting off with 90 days advantage might be a very good source of motivation.

Also, on a side note, this time there is one big big difference from my previous 90 days challenge: I'm exercising frequently. Seriously, I'd also like to know what you guys think about it, but it seems like exercising daily (I'm taking boxing classes now) really made all the benefits of nofap show up more clearly.

The other time I was not exercising at all for more than a year, so I managed to go 90 days without fapping but I couldn't see all the benefits people were talking about. I still felt tired, stressed, socially awkward, etc. This time I'm not even one week in and I'm already seeing some positive changes. I hope it stays this way. :)

    Cheers everyone!

    Sup guys!

I know I'm repeating myself here, but jesus christ, this time nofap has been so much different from my previous try. Seriously, exercising daily has been a huge game changer. I'm not sure if exercising helps with testosterone build up or anything like that, but it really seems like this time I'm experiencing every benefit of nofap I heard before, but couldn't see happening the last time I went for the 90 days.

I know what works for someone might not work for everybody, but if you're trying nofap but you're not exercising on a regular basis, that could be a good double down on your challenge. Exercising + Nofap!

Cheers guys, hope you're all doing fine!

Also, only 82 days until 2017!

You damn right @maske. Last time I made the 90 days challenge I managed to finish it thanks to the running.
Almost every time I had a urge I went for a run.
To share my path, I first visited Nofap on May and lost 33 pounds since. I now run 3 to 4 times a week.
However, I relapsed on the 102th day. But even if I failed, nofap changed my life.

I made exactly this same calculation when I wrote my first post on Oct. 2.

It is encouraging to see that others are aiming to use the perfect amount of time left in the year for a reset.

Now, year 2016 can be the year!

We will start 2017 with a major New Year's resolution already completed!

By the way, for those who don't have it: I recommand to put a counter in your signature. It can seem childish, but it can be very motivational and securing. Gamification can help a little and trick the mind.

When I just found this thread I realized that I can also make 90 days when I stay clean until New Year. That would be a great start in the new year. So count me in!
I don't dare to claim that streak yet though. One day at a time!

It has been 2+ days since I've joined this platform. Being a Muslim, it has been my struggle for over a decade to quit PMO. I look back and cry with all the shame and sorrow how many rivers of semen I have wasted. How many nights I have spent watching filth and not remembering and thanking God. If I PMO every third day on average, then in the last decade, 3 years's nights I have spent in filth. O God forgive me.

Now I am reading all these forums and I'm so happy to see all these guys struggling like me, discussing their experiences, encouraging each other.
God bless you with his mercy and hidaya.
May we all be able to quit our bad addictions forever
