NO PMO & Abstinent Relationship

31 days in hard mode. Kind of spiraling out of control with my fiancé physically.. goal is still to save sex for marriage, which is 155 days away. I need help.

Hey Dr, thanks for reading and commenting. There are a lot of reasons i decided to marry her.. she checks most all of my boxes.. she loves Jesus like i do.. she speaks spanish and is into latin culture like me.. she is hilarious.. she has the humility to take criticism and grow.. i like spending time with her.. she loves working out and beinf healthy like me. It also helps that she is stunningly beautiful.

Moreover, i was addicted to PMO for 14 years and she was understanding of that. I have not watched P since entering our relationship, so to me God speaks and flows through this girl. She is God’s instrument and I want to keep her close because of how God blesses me through her.

Lastly I prayed a lot about marrying her or not. We’ve been through serious disagreements, so I’ve seen the good and bad of the relationship. I know that we can come out of the bad and reside in the good. In the end, the more i prayed about marrying her the more peace God gave me about it.

 

My biggest piece of advice is that God will make it pretty damn obvious if you rely on Him to do that. We did couples counseling with an older couple at church. I felt a lot of wisdom come through them that our struggles are common struggles of couples with successful marriages like theirs. Like i said before, we made it through struggles and know we can work through those.

 

31 days into hard mode. I have sure had a lot of close calls including nearly slipping up with my fiancé last night. I watched a couple ted talks today which i found through nofap. One was a woman talking about how ‘pornified’ our culture is. I realized that both myself and fiancé have been affected. Our sexual energy is more passionate than loving. I’m not gonna worry about that too much though.

The second one i watched was about this Austrian dude who wanted to become a sex god. He decided to reboot to do it because he had PIED. I wondered if I’ve suffered from ED. I’ve always been able to have sex once every 24 hours, but have rarely been able to get it up twice in one romp. I wonder if anyone can relate.

It just reaffirms my need to keep my streak going. I know i need to rely on God, and right now God is screaming at me to get a daily AP.

Day 33 down, God really gave me wisdom which brought out my natural leadership today.

 

35 days in and doing well, leaning on God is my secret. More thorough updates to come.

 

Day 36 complete.. praise God. I am so thankful for the guys in my CR group. They show up every Monday and we just spill our guts about everything. I love those guys.

 

Day 37 complete. I am so grateful of my fiancé. God works through her to grow and me and she is my reward.

 

Day 38 in the bag. Praise God! I had some urges and starting to have a sexual dream about my fiancé on a plane today.. that would have been a bad place for a wet dream haha. I noticed there were 2 females my age in the gym at the hotel tonight. I was able to keep my covenant with my eyes and not lool at them.. no idea if they were attractive or not.

I’m extremely grateful for my fiancé. She is so respectful to me and it makes me feel like a man. Note to any lady readers, respect your man and he will feel like a million bucks. She told me that she thinks her spanish has gotten better as a result of my coaching. I’m here in miami feeling shitty about my white-boy spanish, and that made me feel like a million bucks

 

How does it feel after 60 days? That’s 60 days on hard mode, correct?
