I think I'll do a song and word of the day here too for the time being. Then the surge. Then finish patching up the wounds that may keep us chained with knowledge on how to do so, only you can patch your own wounds at the end of the day. They take time to heal. You can't rush your healing, I've tried. Many times. In many ways.

It's funny how sick the system is. The system that addicts get fed into when they can't fix themselves before something really bad happens. Their family or the state generally is the one to send them into 'the system' at that point.



IF the system was built to fail, why isn't it changed? Too much profit.

I'm so lucky to have this. Why would I let addiction destroy this? Real addiction is not a choice that's why. Recovery is a choice though. Life is not fair in this sense. Actually it is fair but you would have to get into topics such as karma and past lives to fully understand it.

It's so redundant to share these videos but what the hell:

 

One can be addicted to virtually anything. Just because your brain gets rewired by a drug or something as powerful as a hard drug like internet pornography doesn't mean you have developed a true addiction. It may just be a bad compulsion and there is a fine line between compulsions and addictions, addictions are essentially just compulsions tied to psychological and emotional trauma.
