There's a ton of posts within multiple threads that continue to spread the notion that the things we see in porn are "fake". Can you guys stop with this? It's just not true. The porn industry today is dominated by homemade material uploaded by regular everyday people and saying things like porn is fake (implying that studios and porn actors still make up a large percentage of pornographic material) severely downplays the severity of the situation and the fact that pornography is slowly decaying society, morality, and our collective ethos. Seriously, it's really annoying. Stop.

  2. When I think about "fake" I would rather see it as abnormally large boobs/ass or a huge dick that you wouldn't even imagine was possible, but also the large amount of cum they are abel to release in the movies.

I embrace reality at all costs knowing that is where I find ultimate serenity.

From Patrick Carne's, A Gentle Path through the 12 Steps.

As much as I desired for porn to be an accurate depiction of reality, I had to come to terms with the fact that...

    Porn is fake.

It is fake, even "amateur porn". Why is it fake? Because it's not people making love, it's people making a movie. They do things that looks good on camera, not something that is comfortable or feels good.

  5. Even amateur porn is fake in the sense that you're only seeing the audiovisual side of it. Sex is a lot more than just sight and sound.

Is it possible that some of it isn't fake? Perhaps but the majority probably is. If someone puts filters on an Instagram post it's likely homemade porn will have filters too.

    Fake means twi things:
    1- artificial or unnatural/abnormal.
2- unreal, not sensible, no emotions.

    That is fake.

I understand your concern about the impact of pornography on society, but it's essential to maintain a balanced perspective. While some homemade content exists, the porn industry does include various elements, including professional studios and actors. It's crucial to engage in constructive conversations about the effects of pornography on individuals and society without oversimplifying the issue. Let's encourage informed discussions and respectful dialogue on this topic. ️

I don't like the idea that pornographic studios, to this day, continue to make up a large percentage of porn material on the internet. It's not true and by saying porn is fake, you inadvertently downplay the extent to which porn has infiltrated society and persuaded everyday people into becoming perverts (for the sake of views, money, etc.). I realize I'm in the minority and don't really have any desire to change anyone's mind. I don't consider homemade porn fake... I can't see why anyone would. Homemade porn and amateur content is what makes the industry billions these days... how is it fake? The majority aren't actors and upload shit cause they're either bored or degenerate.

I suppose if we live in a simulation everything is fake.

  12. Maybe I just consider it "Fake" in a sense of (sometimes) outrageous and constant expectations.

I am the ex spouse of a porn addict. In my mental health spiral after ending things, I started an OF and made homemade content for a while as some kind of dumb "revenge" and honestly because my self esteem was in the shitter. Once the money started coming in, it very quickly went from taking nice photos from flattering angles to extreme focus on camera angles, filters, uncomfortable poses, purposeful limb placement and taking the same photo or video 40 times to get something upload-worthy. Even partnered content, nothing was enjoyable. It was all about getting the shot, at the right angle, with the right attitude on everyone's faces. Not a single emotion or physical reaction on camera was real, but people regularly subscribed *because* of my "sincere" and "real" content.
    It's ALL fake.

Homemade stuff by "regular people" doesn't mean that it's not fake. Sure, it is not fake in the sense that what you see is probably happening. But it is fake in the sense that it's made for other people to watch and jerk off to, therefore it's sanitized of everything that could break the illusion. "Regular people" are also showcasing themselves on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. All these apps contribute to the general decay of society because they are all rooted in the same problem... a narcissistic superficial fake display of other people that is only meant to elicit a positive response. Positive for them that is, because they don't care how shitty you will feel about your own self after you've watched it.

It sells us a 'fake' idea of sex and relationships, that anything we want is available at the click of a button and the scroll of a mouse button. It sells us the idea that our gratification doesn't and shouldnt take into account the needs and desires of somebody else.

i have not reached the point to think that people/couples should share their intimacy on the public space... even if it's amateur. i can't apply that way of living to myself, and i don't wish it for people. they are free to do whatever they want but i don't believe in that.

"hey we have sex tomorrow want to come at our place and watch us?" who has ever said that? someone probably, but i wouldn't want to normalise that. there something dangerous about intimacy... be careful people.

    It's still fake though.

The amateurs are still just putting on a show. They are usually paying more attention to the camera, the lighting, how they look, sound, etc. rather than actually enjoying the sex. Otherwise they wouldn't make any money. They do the same things the big porn studios do, just without the same production budget.

Of course, it is not fake. Stepmothers get stuck in the dryer all the time.
