Sleeping position

    Hello

    I would like to talk about something thats causing me problems or in other words leading me to jerk off before sleeping. It is my sleeping postion, in reality it became a habit that I can't sleep without fantasizes then jerking off and the sleeping position is promoting that....

    In order to sleep I always lie on my stomach and I imagine some femdom stuff to be able to sleep

    I want to get rid of that, I tried something which seems to be working with me, it could sounds weird for some here because it goes against the M of PMO but...I explain

    It's touching my d*** to get erection without faping, like it channels the energy which relaxes me and lets me sleep.

    i want to comment on this. Because i can relate to it myself. What you wrote about laying on your stomach and how you write about sleeping potitions (namely positions that put you physically in contact with the covers. Pelvic region to covers. Before i initiated the no PMO process i would also hump the covers so to speak. And i realized this was no good. I had to change my sleep routine. So for the first couple of many nigths i got to bed telling myself i must think about my sleeping positions. Why was i nestling in as i did. Did it make me sleep better or was i fasciliatating a route to bad behaviour?
    My solution was to accept i was sleeping to comfortable.
    I decided to only sleep on my back
    and sides with my legs only slightly curled and held together.

    It has taken a few bad nigths but i know know this is my new sleep positions. And in the morning when i wake especially if i wake with a morning wood and sexual thougths to boot. Then i have to get up early and get out of bed in a hurry and make my bed.

    I have for long before this been a heavy user of pornography and i have been masturbating very frequently to porn and i think that to an extent my masturbating practice and some stetching of the pelvic has a thread or connection to lazy stretching of the pelvic region in certain sleeping positions. This has all to do with unwanted behaviour in bed. i can list
    -masturbation
    -scratching
    -stretching
    -phone checking
    -eating in bed
    -watching tv in bed
    -lazying in bed (ALL DAY TEN MONTHS AT A TIME)

    So if like me others have problems with sleeping positions and bed/sleep related problems i know from whence you speak. And im interested in these matters to and i can relate.
    There is a solution though and bad behaviour can be broke. Its a matter of analysing sleep routines.
    It has to do with with taking a look at
    -pre sleep parameters
    lighting,activities, stretching, sleep positions, habits, concentration, interruptions, and so on
    I think i can be wrong but it seems like i have been able to be concious of this problem. And i have been able to change my sleep routine/sleep positions and you can to. The idea is to abstain from to comfortable sleep positions and try out more conservative sleep positions on the back on the side. and try out this more conservative sleep positions for a period of time because like so many other new things you have to get used to . You cant change them rigth away. Rigth away it wont work for you. But gradually through being mindful of what sleep postitions will work for you. It is possible to get good sleep with neutral anti PMO sleep positions and be happy with it. Good luck trying out being mindful of sleep positions and you can go do it. Be strong and keep figthting for those good results. :)

    I will add a little to sleep postions- By doing i will go a little beyond talking about sleep postions and broaden into talking about my PMO experience. How i specifically mean is i will talk about what have been my technique or some tecknique that may or may not be useful to others that migth be weak to touch contact with material or find it hard to stay away from masturbation in contact with material. I will tell i have experienced through out my experience with PMO certain daily experiences with a censations coming from the pelvic area that i have felt through the daily trying to stay clean it has a lot to do with sleep positions that one area that i have had problems with. I also fall privy to contact with clothing material. Now what i have had good experiences with trying to stay clean and away from PMO is i wear more clothes than necessary. The other tool that can be put in use is to tie a towel around your waist in day times. Why? If like me you experience sensations in contact with fabric an extra layer against that sensation is helpful. I tie an appron around my waist to and i wear both during day time and i experience that its helpful. It keeps me away from to much sensation. I think the whole idea of tackling PMO is limiting all sensations. That. And changing routines. Now i have been watching porn and masturbating for many years so i have some experiences and i have an idea of what seems to be working for me.
    Earlier in times before i tried not succumbing to PMO. When i got home what i would immediately do? Get comfortable. i Would drop my pants and wear my underwear why not i was sure that was normal behaviour. Normal to feel comfortable and i think that a thing that many has to be more mindful of is. To comfortable is not good. So wear clothes. All the time. A little more than necessary is benefitial to this purpose. Steel gloves is not of the table but lets wait with midieval methods just yet. The thing im getting is try to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Its just an entire thinking. Get out of bed early. make your bed. Wear more clothes than is necesary. Try to get some exercise. Break a habit of staying where the problem may just be making matters worse Get outside take walks. Remove yourself from the source. Outside you are among people and other situations that make PMO impossible. Stick to your new lifestyle and avoid sensations and get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

  3. That sounds positive to me. I often do roughly the same thing - holding my junk as I go to sleep. I imagine it channels energy to the sacral chakra, self comforting, kind of like the fetal position.
