I live in Sweden. No, I don't see them in the public transport. I see them in expensive cars. Don't google a pornstar especially when on day 13.

We all have our issues my friend. That doesn't make us less responsible for the choices we make. And I don't mean that she should be blamed for her own death but let's not act as if all the porn actresses are somehow being victims.

  4. I didnt say you are simply wrong. In fact i get what you mean. Its true that there is allways a choice, and some simply miss it. But there are definitly some very pretty girls out there that missed the way out too. I personally reject as well the idea that all and everyone that you can see in a porn movie is simply a victim. This tendency exists in this forum and it is one-dimensional. But then again i can assure you that from where i sit it is as well over-exagerated that girls with such looks are allways and only on the brightside of life.... I live in Paris... everyone takes sooner or later the metro :p

  5. well i survived googling her without a relapse :D so far so good ;-)

This is very sad. To leave this world and all you did was porn. After all that abuse she went through during her life she dies doing the most degrading thing to women. Its not her fault though its the people contributing to this disgusting industry. The people that demand these things. If there was no demand there wont be a supply. What is worse is that i was one of these people who were watching this shit. Who was a contributor. That is one of the top reasons i do not want to ever watch porn again.
Only 35 and she died. A young beautiful woman. I hope she rests in peace.

  8. Im not even sure if i do exactly disagree with you, my impression was that you reject the idea that girls with such looks can become victims of an abusive environement, because - my interpretation now - you did make the experience that women that look as good as she does usually manage to find a far more comfortable pace in society where they dont have to degrade themselves the way at least some pornstars are doing it.

  9. I think a big part of the problem is porn performers don't really understand what they are getting into when they start, often they are told about how much money they are going to make and how popular and famous they will be etc etc but most of the performers don't get anywhere near successful. I think you should do some research about the bad side of the porn industry. Girls get recruited from as young as 16-17 even in western countries like USA and UK through rogue modelling agencies which start with fashion style model shoots but at some point, usually when they turn 18 they will get propositioned with the porn option. The kind of person who recruits 18 year old girls to do porn in my opinion isn't someone I would want looking after my daughter for example.

Porn is a bigger issue than just agencies, performers and consumers, it is something that changes and shapes the mindset of a whole generation, some may find it liberates them in some way but others find that it keeps them in bondage to something they no longer want to be a part of. Porn is being accessed on a larger scale today than has ever been possible in history because of the internet, the biggest problem being that minors (those under 18) are viewing it and without the correct guidance or moral understanding it will and does lead to other societal problems often resulting in criminal offences or unwanted attention, harrassment because porn doesn't teach the consumers how to cherish or respect women but teaches a man that women are objects only to be used for pleasure. When you are further on in your no PMO journey you will start to understand more about the difference between lust and love, power and control, respect and intimacy.

I would recommend watching Nefarious 'Merchant of Souls' which is a good documentary about sex trafficking and slavery it may open your eyes more.

I agree with what you are saying in general. But it all still boils down to personal choices don't you think? Our decisions have consequences right?

I've had the same experience.. 'Hot chicks' are always the most insecure. Probably doesn't help that I have ED.. lol

  14. I'm not gonna google her because I don't wanna see her work. I've probably already seen her stuff anyway. But I will say that the fans are just as much victims of the porn as the performers. We really need to take back our minds. Let's not focus on the tragic death on a person we don't really know. Let's focus on the life of the REAL people around us we have been ignoring . How many real life beautiful women are you hiding away from while living in fantasy land with these pornstars.

This is so sad for her family and loved ones. :(

It is true that past abuse and other issues are rampant in adult entertainment performers. A very close loved one of mine was a stripper for over a decade, and I did it a few times myself (at the age of 16-17, no less -- they often don't check ID's). We were both sexually abused, or I believe we'd have never positioned ourselves as sexual objects to be consumed by men. We would have been doing healthier things with our time and our lives. We are only 2 women, though. After spending considerable time around MANY people in the adult entertainment environment (strippers, prostitutes, and porn actresses), I can vouch for the fact that awful past histories are completely the norm there. I can speculate how such a past can lead to such things, however, for now, I'll just state facts I've seen with my own eyes and ears.

Very intelligent post, @thorswrath32. Thank you. Yes, it's not as simple as a porn-warped mind imagines. I will check out your movie recommendation.

  20. Just a question: do they really dont check the ID or do they even appreciate it when the girls are so young?
Honestly: the body of a 16 year old (as well the face) is quite easy to distinguish from a girl that is i.e. 23....
