Hello everyone,I am very thankful to be a part of this, thank you for welcoming me. I've been using porn since puberty.I didn't finish school, currently jobless.I live in my parent's house. I spent my time quiet haven't talk to anyone for almost 3 years,it's a rock bottom until this January my friend and I decided to meet up.I noticed that I stutter alot and feeling distance. And then I decided to make a change and come to realize my addiction of PMO has taken a part of my life. And how I use it to escape.

I struggle alot, I'm looking for people to chat to support each other like a friend.

I've been there, I know how you feel.

The answer to all your questions can either be extremely simple or overly complex. This will depend on you, your will power and whether or not you have goals and aspirations to move yourself forward. The first thing you need to do is cut down on stimulants such as usage of your phone/computer/tablet. Second thing you need to do is think about your lifestyle as a whole. You need to eat better. Chances are, as with many other addicts, that you eat quite a bit of protein. Protein stimulates and inflames the body in such a way that a man is always vulnerable to sexual urges much more so than he would be on a protein-restricted diet. Consider introduces more fresh and cooked vegetables into your diet. Fruits will be beneficial, too. It's important that you see the sun every day – go outside! Do things that make you happy. Last but definitely not least: have something to work towards. If you don't have goals and aspirations for your future, you have no reason to change. Give yourself a reason to change and you will change without the slightest amount of conscious effort to beat what you think is an addiction. This habit you have is actually a dependance and it's one that arises from the simple fact that you need an escape just like you admitted yourself.

    Good luck.

    Welcome to the NoFap community.
Here are some strategies that may be helpful:
    • Get an accountability partner here.
    • Start a journal here, select your age group and Post New Thread.
    • It's important to replace the bad habit of PMO with a good habit. Some suggestions: Read articles in a field you are interested in. Learn time management. Learn about self confidence and motivation. Take online courses. Learn about self confidence and motivation. Read a self help book. Go out and socialize.
    • It's also important to be strong physically: Eat well. Drink about 2 liters of water per day. Exercise for 30 minutes each day. Get at least 6-7 hours of sleep.
    • Many have found meditation to be helpful--it can take the place of PMO time and help your physical, psychological and spiritual health. Start with 5 minutes, gradually increase to 20 minutes, once or better twice a day.
