So I did my own testing and did my normal fartlek workout and normally I do about 3 sets while listening to music but my mate and I were joking around about listening to porn while exercising and I took it seriously and tried it I ended up getting to 5 sets but the key is to listen to porn after you finish your workout when your tired then it gives you more energy for a couple more sets because listening the whole way makes your brain think that it is normal
Do you realize you already started another thread on this? In order to have all replies in one place it's just practical to keep it in one thread instead of start another one. You understand people who do scientific studies do it long term right? It sounds like your test is one time or maybe a few. Unfortunately this is probably also the reason people don't listen or have any kind of comprehensive plan, short attention span. Because of this I'm not as worried because like most everything else chances are you probably won't keep it up. Nothing personal I'm saying in general with people and not knowing anything differently about you it's just likely. If you do, and if you remember you may want to come back and report - but not just physical changes also mentally - if that's important to you.
Maybe it can improve you phisically, but definitely not mentally... the sound of P actress may distract you while doing exercises, but you're still nurturing your brain with a bad source of dopamine... you'll became used to combine porn and physical activity for a while, in order to get pleasure and avoiding the fatigue of exercises.... but for just a while! Then your mind will start concentrating more to the moans and your desire to work out will fade... than you'll concentrate only on porn.... and finally you'll start PMO again.
Sounds like a very bad idea. I prefer to listen to gym motivation videos on YouTube - gives me much more energy.
trust me listening to porn gives more energy than anything else but from the help of you boys I'm not going to listen to porn because I do see why it can be considered as a relapse and it is not good for me mentally
Hmm . . . that might have worked once. Doubt that it'll work again, but even if it does, where will it lead you. One of the truths about addiction and recovery is that neither side is all good or all bad. Watching porn might help you learn more about human sexuality. It might keep you from doing more destructive behaviours. Masturbating at night might help you sleep. But remember, it's a package deal. If you get in the habit of listening to porn when you workout, you will almost certainly find yourself looking at porn to PMO later. And PMO will ultimately hurt your ability to achieve your exercise goals.
Well even if after listening to all these suggestions and you still want to try that (workout + listening to porn), then don't bother looking at this thread any longer, cos after relapsing another 10 times you would eventually learn that "I better do less workout (by not listening to porn) than workout more and eventually relapse". The main goal here is not workout but to get rid of addiction. So If workout is your priority and not Nofap, then you can do whatever you want.
I really don't get why you would even want to do that. It sounds like your PMO brain is just trying to find any loophole or little crevice that it can worm its way through to get you to indulge. If you're serious about Nofap, you gotta cut this shit out. PERIOD.
