Does anyone have any good reading material on P addiction, books, magazine articles,or internet articles?

I'm avoiding YouTube or any kind of video for a while but I would like to learn more about my condition.

really good book on what it has done to you. it makes you think. and explains how screwed up the industry is and society. ( possible triggers for Pstar names in book but i believe he buffers you and warns it in book) my husband and I read it in a day.
    Really easy read.

Its great how its geared for men. so its written (well by a guy) but in "man talk" jargon they understand. Its an easy read and straight to the point.

I just liked that it had a rebuttal for every argument one could have about why to use porn. It was helpful for both of us to see all the negatives of it but in a balanced way.

Hi , do you have a link to break the cycle book ? thanks.

  14. There's a great book I read called "Pornified" by Pamela Paul that discusses the prevalence of porn in our culture. It's based on her interviewing several men and women regarding their porn use and how it has affected their lives. Some of the examples are over the top, but entirely plausible. It's not so much about addiction, but it does describe how far people can go down the porn route and the destruction that ensues. Some reviews accuse her of being a feminist with an ax to grind, but it seems that comes from those who believe porn is just men harmlessly acting on their biological instincts.

Gail Dines "Pornland: how porn has hijacked our sexuality" is excellent, but she does not pull her punches when describing porn so make sure you are well into your recovery before you attempt it. I also found "Confronting Your Spouse’s Pornography Problem" by Reid & Gray really useful, even though it's written for SOs not us PAs.

Robert Weiss is supposedly an expert on this. He has a one hour talk each week on a site called intherooms.com. I realize this isn't reading
