    I think the only way is to keep the mind pure. Fantazising leads to wet dream and wet dreams lead to porn flashbacks making it really hard time.

    Its been 10 days without P and 24 days without M, this is getting soo hard right now, yesterday i was about to give up but I FUCKING DIDNT, beacuse im on a nofap duty to not masturbate or watch any of that shit we call porn.
    Whats so ever, i woke up today, took a cold shower, made myself breakfast and now im heading to caffe, to sing (im a singer) its hard for me now beacuse im addicted to cigarettes and im not smoking like 2 or 3 days, beacuse i quit that shit

    I'm new here and began my clean up attempt May 25th. I tried before but didn't quite set up support mechanisms. I would say to all of you that this is very important, we all will feel like going back and I failed many times because I didn't have anything or anywhere to go to when the urge came. So as an example this is what I did. To begin I picked a date that it's important to me and relate to people that are directly impacted by this, in my case my wife and May 25th is our wedding anniversary. I added this forum and the NoFap Emergency in my bookmarks bar, they are the first two, visible and easily accessed, so any time that my mind starts to roll I can click there. We are not all the time close to the computer which is good and bad because then I wouldn't have a support system, so I'm using my cell phone also since they are always with us. I changed my background photo so I only need to enable the screen and I can read a quote that relates to what I'm doing in a subtle way. I've put away everything that reminds me of P, M or O.

    My quote is from Thomas Edison: Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

    I'm also trying other stuff to clear my head, not all of them are productive, for instance, I play a game in my cell. I ended up playing that a lot lately which really bothers my wife but I'm putting an effort in going back to exercise and tennis. It is helpful to be open with your partner if that's your case, it is mine. I know it's difficult to be in that vulnerable position with anyone but if they are really your partner/friend/whatever they will help you, even if the only thing they can do is give you support through words.

    The worst time for me is when I'm going to sleep. It's like powering up a streaming device in my head and if I don't break the chain of thoughts is very difficult to let it go. So I open my eyes everytime it starts, it has worked so far. In the beginning, I would have some tough nights but since I cut down coffee too it's getting easier to sleep faster.

    Don't give up if you fall short, failures are part of the path to success. This is true not only in business but in personal life as well. Blaming yourself for failing creates a loop of bad thoughts and emotions that can easily throw you into a state where you will look for a quick fix and we know what happens next. If you can't do 30 days in a row try a week, then 2 weeks, then 3 and so on.

    This is my 8th day straight, the longest time I managed to be P free. It's incredible how this thing controls us, let's stop this. Stay strong.

    Guys, I would like to share something with you I have learned recently. Seems like from a psychological point of view it may be contra productive if you disallow yourself a certain thought. Whenever you tell yourself “I’m not allowed to think about xzy” your subconscious mind will cause your brain to think about the very same thing. If an unwanted thought pops in your mind just accept it while not giving it any further attention, it will disappear sooner or later. Don’t believe me? :D Try not to think about a pink elephant or a white bear for as long as you can ;)
