Dude, I just hit it and I'm weaksauce right now -- could barely get to 25. Ouch. This surprises me in that bad sort of way. Had a cold this weekend, though. But, I got some serious catching up to do either way. Watch out, old dude might catch you up

Your body will adapt for this kind of stress and ignore the muscle tearing if you do only this challenge without other sports. However if you do weight lifting I wouldn't recommend you do this challenge. But it isn't so bad to do 100 or even 300 pushups a day, because your body rapidly adapts to the requirements and heals chest muscle fibers faster.
Hear what he's saying, guys.. @AChosenPeople is totally right. If you think of it like a boot camp. The muscle will BUILD. It's amazing what the human body can do with rest and good nutrition. Stay healthy, but it's really rad to watch yourself change. You have all the power. Just keep killing it with your best efforts. The body does the rest! You will feel much better and ready for your NoFap goals, as well
