Hi i am a 37yo male (athletic, healthy, now living in switzerland). i am new to nofap and i want to introduce myself here as it is recommended. I hope that my story is at least interesting for at least a few out there? I have heard about the NoFap yet but did’nt know about this website yet. It is really a coincident that i came over your site today after just realizing yesterday evening that something was wrong with my behaviour or stability. Because the goals i thought i have reached yet alone for myself are 1) overcoming watching hardcore porn (e.g. BDSM, etc.) and 2) MO only once a week. But today i must say i am not so sure about it any more. I am doing fine, i thought. I am not a person who does compulsive PMO. But just on sunday evening I had a extremly severe compulsive PMO. I felt really bad about that (because i even tried to spend money on porn which i haven’t done ever before!) i said to me, i will not PMO the rest of this week because i didn’t want to feel low and tired. i wanted to become stable again. But yesterday evening i did P and watched porn 2 hours (without edging or MO) and got tired about it. I got to bed and thought about it all. in the end I wasn’t aroused of watching 2 h of porn. I thought, a least i had no MO. But i was sad that i spend 2 h in front of my laptop searching for porn. I felt sad, and didn't know why. Today i accidently came accross your site and i am overwhelmed that many many other men (and women) struggle with the same problem! Your documentations illuminated the whole procces to me. I am realizing now that the problem is also watching porn not MO standing for itself. I also know this dopamin rush etc. i really feel ashamed about all that now. I always was searching this little rush again and again. i have to stop that. i am really thankful for that little insight. Well, yesterday i thought about not to MO for a week or so and also to quit watching porn forever. But now I really think about to not MO for e.g. 90 days or so, for the beginning, (and also try to quit watching porn forever of course). i never thought about that before. I will try a challenge … I will do it! My first and primary goal is to get my time back instead of loosing hours in front of my laptop watching porn and MO afterwards. (because i never did MO in front of my laptop.) I hope i will find some friends here to share and get to know. Cheers Ethan

I do. it is also very healthy. When do start your fasting? in the evening? i guess you don't eat half of the day? Why one can't you sent messages?

i heard about that practice i do not fast. only when sleeping ... are you doing work outs? it is not recommended to fast and to do workout if you want to bulk up. so i do not fast yet. don't you have cravings for food?
I exercise but my goal is not to be too big, you can fast and add weight, its all about how many calories you intake, you dont need to eat unhealthy to add weight, there are high caloric foods for example all cereals, fasting have benefits and one of them is stomach is resting, i dont have any cravings for food actually i feel better when fasting it will maybe be hard in beginning for you but through time it will become easy
Speaking about fasting, I am on the last day of 30 days Ramadhan fasting. We are fasting around 13 hours here. I can say that fasting has great benefit on restraining the urges. Outside this month I also practice 1 day fasting and 1 day normal. Highly recommended practice especially combined with Vegan
