I found out about NoFap way back in 2016. Back then I wasn't part of the community, although I was addicted to pornography and I had a girlfriend. She really wanted me to quit but I failed every time I tried. Since then she we broke up and I fell deeper into my porn addiction. It wasn't until August 2019 that I realized how bad it was. I prioritized my screen over any real connection. It was bad. However I was lucky enough to find somebody new who was patient and good to me. Since meeting her I have been able to stop watching porn. My life has become a lot better because of it. Although I don't feel like i've healed properly. I still feel urges to watch. That's why i'm here. I want to heal sexually. Properly this time. To do so I've set up a 40 day challenge of no PMO starting yesterday. On the 28th of December I will meet my girlfriend again. I'm hoping this will be the start of something good in my life.
starting your noPMO journey is already the beginning of something good in your life. Continue and more good things will follow. If you haven't already done so, make some time to read the "getting started guide" available on this site's (noFAP) homepage. It includes lots of helpful information as you begin - and continue - your journey of healing. One day at a time is how we all succeed.
