I assume you mean Andrew Tate. If you're referring to the BBC interview the journalist explains why she interviewed him here.

the explanation is simple even if grim; he is rich. he can bribe\hire people to be cast as a famous celebrity figure if he wants.
its sad, infuriating, yes. but it isnt anything "weird" ; just a bad rich person using wealth to further his own interests.

id say that kind of psychology is definitely "weird" his own interests seem to be mental instability and he peddles this crap to teenagers as his main fan base.that is wierd

  6. Apparently he converted to Islam to justify himself even further.

Still, I think Tate is popular for one reason: He [seems] to get lots of women, and so many frustrated young guys will do just about anything (or idolize just about anyone) that they think will give them that sort of lifestyle. Honestly, sex isn't all it's cracked up to be (I've even seen testimonies from guys here that escorts can be highly disappointing), but so many men want to vindicate themselves to themselves to be able to say that they did it. Then again, we live in an age where sex is overhyped and virtue is seen as a vice (or coping, depending on who you're dealing with).

Clearly, most men hate being virgins and/or single, and can't bear the thought of being undesirable by women. If some Messianic figure shows up to offer them a solution (even if it's snake oil), then they will buy into it hook, line and sinker.

EDIT: For most men, without a woman (or a chance at sex/relationships), life might as well be meaningless.

  7. Has he actually been convicted of anything? Or just accused of doing all those things? If it's the former then he has the same right as anyone else to defend himself.

Your profile says you are a male, but are you actually a female who made a male account in order to post this?

the way you talk in your post is exactly how the media is portraying Andrew Tate

you are only mirroring what has already been shown to you, you are not using any sort of independent thinking processes on your own

Also, if you really think about it, how easy is it for someone to frame a man by saying “he raped me”

It happens all the time. For example, say a guy has sex with a girl, but doesn’t want to have a relationship with her. The girl feels used, and to get revenge, she claims “rape”

happens to celebrities as well as ordinary people.

yes, it is a sin to have sex without truly liking the girl and wanting a relationship with her… but it is not a legal crime in the criminal code

therefore, someone can commit sin and not be legally punished by the authorities in a country

Some girls want revenge though, and don’t take being “used” lightly, even though it was consensual and there was no wedding ring placed on her finger before the sexual act occurred

if girls don’t want to be used, then don’t have sex until after the wedding, it’s simple

He hasn’t been convicted of any of the charges. I don’t know why you even make a thread about him? His stances on porn are that men shouldn’t be consuming it, even if he did run a webcam studio his current message stands.

It does not “ happen all the time”. Only 48% of sexual assaults are even reported and only 2-8% are false. As a woman who worked in law enforcement and married to a cop, it was very rare to get a false report. As a mother to a young man it terrifies me that he could be unfairly accused. However, no matter my fear, I do understand that the likelihood is minuscule. If men don’t want to risk being accused don’t have sex until marriage.

  12. When men like Mike Pence say they won't have dinner alone with anyone but their wife, they get called a creepy pervert anyway. Henry Cavil "has something to hide" because he avoids relationships out of a fear of false accusation. Sometimes men just can't win in situations like this. Your last sentence is (probably inadvertently) the exact same kind of victim blaming women constantly accuse men of.

  13. Gotta agree. Whenever I see anyone use the word "toxic" without any irony I have a little chuckle to myself. That or immediately think of DarkSydePhil. Which is also funny.

I only put that in to show how ridiculous his statement was about women waiting for marriage. :)

Lol. I get the fear though. Even though I know how unlikely it is, I have a young 23 year old son that I would die protecting, I’m afraid for him. However saying things like it happens all the time causes damage and fear.

2-8% is pretty high. Yea, maybe “all the time” is not the right wording and a matter of perspective. But I consider even 2% a lot

And I actually agree with your last statement “don’t have sex until marriage”. It guarantees there will be no problems and also is in line with true sexual purity and is exactly in line with biblical teaching

Pretty much 99% of the problems I have had in my life were due to lack of control of sexual desire. But I also had no guidance as a youth in this matter

    now I know better!

Really? but that’s not of total assaults. It’s only 2-8 % of reported assaults. So if only 48% are reported and it’s only 2-8 that’s 1-4% of total assaults. I think that’s pretty low considering the number of mental health issues that people have. You’re never going to have zero. Idk, considering every woman I know has experienced some type of sexual assault or harassment, I’d say that’s low. Of the 4 women I know who were raped( Neice, 2 friends, best friends mother) , only one was reported and that one could not be prosecuted because he was caught long after the statute of limitations. He brutalized and raped 50 women I believe, dna evidence, but couldn’t be prosecuted. He did get prosecuted for the murders he escalated to. I’m just saying, we fear it more than we should ( myself included because of my son). You are far more likely to be raped by another man than to be falsely accused of rape. But very few men I know are afraid of that.

Well, I know for me, I’ve experienced a false pregnancy accusation and had to do a dna test to prove I wasn’t the father. Also, a girl who didn’t like me because I didn’t want to date her told my old roommate that I raped a girl before, and this roommate had a sister who had been raped. So she made it so the guy didn’t trust me and messed up our roommate situation. It ended up being fine but was still stressful

I’ve experienced firsthand this false allegation stuff, so maybe I’m a little more paranoid than some other people

I view it as a punishment though for sin, so I am not that upset about it, but it was still stressful for me
