a german article. Here is the translation:
Alone or with a partner: sex keeps men healthy!

Researchers at Harvard University in the US found that men who have frequent orgasms are less likely to develop prostate cancer. This is because regular ejaculations have a positive effect on testosterone levels and physical health.

The researchers are even quite precise and recommend: 21 orgasms a month to reduce the risk of prostate cancer.

The Harvard scientists were able to prove with their study showed that men who ejaculate at least 21 times a month from the age of 20 have a 19 percent lower risk of developing prostate cancer. They were compared with men who do not ejaculate more than seven times a month.

The research team suspects that with frequent ejaculation, harmful, potentially cancer-promoting substances are flushed out of the body more often and more thoroughly.

The harmful substances remain in the prostate for a shorter period of time. This is a gland located behind the bladder in men. During an orgasm, the gland pushes the semen into the urethra via the excretory ducts.
    Orgasms for your health!

Other studies also show that regular pleasure is healthy. They strengthen the immune system, ensure better sleep, less stress, a lower risk of depression and better self-esteem.

Men masturbate on average ten times a month up to the age of 25, say the scientists. However, the frequency decreases with increasing age and also in relationships. From now on, men can go back to masturbating more often in old age with a clear conscience ... after all, it's healthy!

    Whats your opinion about this?

We chemical engineers are trained to provide a purge stream in our process designs for each possible contaminant, known or unknown, lest one or more accumulate therein. I have seen other studies over the years similar to this one and they make sense, particularly in light of the association of prostate cancer with the presence of certain metals, such as zinc, at elevated levels.

My father died prematurely of prostate cancer — it was horrible. Ever since, I’ve masturbated frequently for this very reason. My counter here instead deals with my particular addiction.

    YMMV. Make your own choices.

Idk man… only 19% decrease in risk, plus you get all the negative things from ejaculation…

21 orgasms a month would destroy my health and energy

Masturbation: "From the Latin words manstuprare, from manus "hand" (as in manual) + stuprare "defile" (oneself), from stuprum "defilement, dishonor," related to stupere "to be stunned, stupefied" (as in stupid)."

Ejaculation: “Devolution: the transfer or delegation of power to a lower level; the descent to a lower state. Pass into (a different state, especially a worse one); degenerate.”

well, i am not really interested about the prostate cancer topic. Today everything causes topic.

    I find these statement interesting:
Other studies also show that regular pleasure is healthy. They strengthen the immune system, ensure better sleep, less stress, a lower risk of depression and better self-esteem.

This is the exact opposite of my personal experience. During PMO phases i experience anxiety, depression, feeling bad, other people threat me like shit...
During SR Streaks otherwise a complete new world if opening with friends, self-convidence and so on

Winner! If this is true, I've beat the 21 orgasms/month by over 500 times in my lifetime average!

Please see these post which debunk some of the prostate myths: https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?t...e-a-healthy-habbit.346548/page-3#post-3749491

21 ejaculations a month. I probably only did that during my honeymoon. Let's face it most men who are at risk of prostate cancer are 60+. I guarantee you (I'm 55), there are no men in that age range ejaculating's that much, except for porn addicts. It's really ridiculous. Also prostrate cancer is one of the most treatable and detectible cancers out there. My dad's in is 80s, had stage 4, but just went through radiation and is fine. If you are at risk, get checked annually and stop fapping. The health benefits of not fapping will far outweigh any risk.

This is a good Huberman post on Cancer and Prostrate cancer (obesity is the leading cause indicator):
What I've heard from multiple experts is that Sugar/carbs feeds cancer cells, while if your body goes into ketosis, then your body will naturally feed on and destroy the cancer cells. This will also reduce inflammation, which should help with an enlarged prostrate. Whereas, masturbation makes you lazy, undisciplined, sleep deprived, and prone to over indulge in other addictions like food. You decide what is the greater risk.

  16. The same "scientists" who claim that you need to ejaculate a completely arbitrary amount are the same people who want you to believe that eating bugs is as good for you as steak and that by paying more taxes we can stop global warming. They are propagandists.

Ok. Maybe ejaculation is good for you, maybe it has no effect. I’m not for or against it either way. Explicit material is the problem. I doubt many people here have a problem with simply masturbating with their eyes closed too much so I don’t find this particularly insightful.
