Day 53 ✅ 10 mins guided on headspace app - I’m at the point where maybe this is getting easier again!!!
Day 38 Today I started late with my routine. I usually get impatient by now, but I had the time and energy to fully commit myself on the meditation. I did two sessions. The first session was to relax. Just everything goes when I do this. I try to loosely become aware of my body. In session two, I focused on my boxed breathing. 4 in-2 hold-4 out-2 hold. Feel relaxed 15 minute meditation - DONE
Day 14/100- Just learned that meditation increases the grey matter in the pre-frontal cortex. The fact that the prefrontal cortex is called by some the "CEO" of the brain is cause for alarm for me. This part of the brain is weakened by porn addiction. Now I am really going to adapt meditation in my life. Meditated for 10 minutes today.
Day 39 Today I had a good work day which prepared me for my evening routine. But despite my thorough routine, I felt rather restless. This came back in the meditation. I did 2 meditation sessions in 15 minutes. I started sith relaxation and listening to the sound of the cars passing by. However, I couldn't focus. This was probably due to an overconsumptuon of sugar today. I don't normally eat it, but I eat a lot of sugary goodness today and it made me restless. In the second session I noticed it as well. My box breathing meditation could be done, but I got easily distracted. Less sugar from now on. 15 minute meditation - DONE
Day 15/100- Meditation seems to have lowered my anxiety immensely. @Ūruz thank you for this challenge. You are a god send. I think this might be the practice that ends my addiction for good.
