Thanks for the kind words and well wishes. I really do appreciate it. I just hope that this thread carries at least some helpful information that may help fellow fapstronauts who may encounter similar problems.
Nope, not yet. I'm kinda taking this as a good sign, maybe they haven't found anything or maybe there were too many files before mine to go through so they haven't gotten to them yet. I don't know what the case is, but I'm guessing I'm going to have to wait until Monday.
Ultrasound doesn’t hurt the balls? Maybe I should get my balls checked just in case. I always thought it would be painful to get it checked? Next time I have a physical exam, I’ll ask for that.
Its a painless procedure, just weird to have someone that you aren't trying to have sex with or know that well be rubbing something on your balls.
A friend of mine died of testicular cancer at 26 because he didn’t check his balls. I’m glad you got to check yours.
I guess that shows you the importance of getting your balls checked should any issues arise. Even if it turns out to be blue balls or some kind of a fluid build up that is easily drained, better to get checked anyways. I'm kinda hoping that this thread will help some male fapstronauts here who may encounter pain in that area in the future. I think some of the ladies here should post a breast cancer thread on the site too. Cancer is a very dangerous disease and can affect a large portion of the body.
I absolutely agree. Moderators, if you are watching this. Can you make a pinned thread specifically for topics: For Men: 1) blue balls - since lot of men here have this and frequently are confused about this topic. (What is it, website links, etc). 2) testicular cancer and checkups (what is it, website links, etc). For women: 1) breast cancer checkup. Yes this is for recovery from PMO but our physical health is equally important as well. Many Thanks!
@seaguy44 I've had a testicular ultra sound. It doesn't hurt at all. However, your doctor isn't likely to order one if he/she checks your testicles and there is no lumps nor pain. Better than an ultra sound that might give you a false sense of security is this: 1. Have a doctor check you for testicular cancer 2. Have your doctor show you how to check for cancer 3. On the first Saturday of the month take a hot shower and check for lumps There are plastic "shower check" cards that hang over the shower head. They are reversible with the pink side showing the steps for a breast cancer check and the blue side showing the steps for a testicular cancer check. Here is a site that sells them in bulk, http://www.positivepromotions.com/b...ower-card-personalization-available/p/kim-10/ you can order as few as 25 for 79cents each. Wrap them with christmas presents or include them in birthday cards. L ---- For the record I have no affiliation with the site that sells shower cancer check cards for 79cents. To find other sites simply search on google. To the moderators, it is very difficult to see how a cancer check shower card could be a trigger. It is easy to see how it could save a life.
I eexperienced once a pain in the scrotum . In that time I had regular sex ( once or twice a week ) but I was every inactive because of my job and all I was doing ....sitting in a chair. Exercise helped.
Many thanks. No word yet, but I have been trying to bring to light the importance of getting pain in that particular area checked out should it start to get bad. I know there is pain and swelling with blue balls, but if that pain starts to worsen even a little, I think it would be best to have it checked out just to be safe. Don't ignore pain in the groin area, get regular cancer screenings if you feel there's a lump or something near there. Stay safe and stay healthy folks!
