Semen Retention = More Gainz at the Gym?

    Strictly based on my own experience I don't think SR and NoFap will lead to more gains. Back in 2019, I started working with a personal trainer in the gym. She was smoking hot, like the hottest girl I have ever had a conversation with, and I would fap daily thinking about her and probably fap another once or twice per day to porn. At the time i got into really good shape because I was focused on my nutrition and my workouts. And yes in the back of my head part of my motivation was I had this little hope which I know would never happen that she would find my transformation hot and want to have sex with me. Sadly that day never happened.

    Although fapping did not impact my results at the time, I think porn and fapping can hurt you at the gym when your porn consumption is cutting into your gym time or sleep time. After the covid lockdowns, the trainer moved away with her fiancee, so I was on my own which was fine, I knew what I needed to do at the gym. My company sent us all to work from home when covid hit, so after work I would sometimes find myself watching porn and say "I'll go the gym after I rub one out real quick." An hour later I was still looking at porn. I would finally go to the gym and felt like I was rushing through my workout so it was not as good as it could have been. We all know sleep is important, so if you are staying up late watching porn and not getting a good night's sleep that will also impact your performance at the gym.

    Well that is a different type of motivation and addiction altogether. You were still motived by your sex drive to perform at the gym. Your sexual desire was different however, in that it was focused on a real woman, even though you were acting out in private. That's a lot different from recovering from all night PMO sessions. In addition, your desire for her kept you going back and kept you motivated, in spite of your depleted semen. Your later experience with covid confirms that PMO works against gains.

    There is no scientific evidence for a lot of things, but almost everyone, including myself, experiences more objective measurable physical strength on semen retention. Do not forget that these scientific studies almost always have to be funded by organizations. Maybe there are some organizations that do not like men to be at their best on semen retention, because this may have some financial consequences, because when men feel better, then there is less need for physical and mental support.

    Of course semen retention has A LOT of benefits in the gym, because semen is life force!! You become stronger, more aggressive, your testosterone is higher and you have way more energy. The sexual energy we hold in our body can be transformed to another form of physical energy that we can use in the gym. Energy = energy and can be transformed.

    Sometimes I am shocked by the gains I have built. People literally ask me if I use steroids. A thing that never happened in my life, not even when I was younger (21). I am 28 right now and I am way more muscular and shredded than I was in my teens and early twenties.
