    Hello Everyone,

New Fapstranaut here! I wanted to get an idea of how long it takes people to see results and how long it takes individuals to be cured of PIED. I'm going for the 90 day no PMO challenge and I'm wondering if most people are cured by the end of their reboot.

I saw some results in about 2 weeks. A month I noticed even more. Never made 90 though.

Same! Saw results (beginning) in 2 weeks then relapse.

There are so many factors involved. How heavy was the porn use? For how long? Do you have death grip? So many others

Ive seen posts of severe cases needing 6 to 12 months of hard mode to reverse the damage.

A 19 year old dick heals faster than a 50 year old dick.

It greatly depends on your circumstances. The younger you started regularly using pornography, the more it has rewired your brain and the longer it will take for you to fully recover. I'm glad I was 20 before pornography became a major issue for me. Keep at it. The end is worth it.

According to the porn video, it's opposite. The younger you are, the longer it takes to heal because you have been raised in Internet porn era. The older you are, the chances of you living in pre-internet open are higher = less rewired addiction in your brain. This video makes you think

    Check it out!

I started watching porn around age 13 and continued up until just recently. I got pretty deep into some hardcore fetishes but I only PMO on average once a day. It would be at minimum an hour or two of PM before O. What is death grip? Thank God for you guys and your help by the way. I'm struggling pretty badly in this moment, hence why I'm on here!

Minimum one or two hour of PM before O, that's a lot of Dopamine being used in your brain. Dopamine is a pleasure chemical being released when you feel
pleasure. Orgasm is said to have the strongest Dopamine release, similiar to how heroin users feel when they get a Heroin High.

Dopamine while using PM is artificial while Dopamine during intercourse is natural. That's why we should ejaculate only during sex.

Death Grip is basically how you hold your penis during PM. This affects your penis, erections and orgasms and now when you have sex with a girl, you suddenly can't have erections with a girl, that's a result of Death Grip and PIED (Porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction).

    Hope this helps?

ED is a complex issue. Age obviously matters. Masturbation style matters. Some of us (myself included) take supplements for ED. My ED is mostly due to anti depressant use. Porn just aggravates it. I take L Arginine which is an amino acid which helps with blood flow similiar to the "pills". Totally safe. I really judge progress by my morning. Strong consistent hard morning erections mean the reboot is working and during the day you will notice you are much more firm vs flaccid.

Is it normal to not have any erections in the first week? My libido is going crazy right now but I haven't had an erection in just about a week now. I think about sex or MO hourly and I feel like I'm horny but my body isn't responding the same way. I've seen some people write about flatlining? Is that what I'm experiencing?

There is no normal. I really think every reboot is like a snowflake. Physically I never flatline. My desire is just dead. You could parade playboy playmates nude around me now I'll get hard but have no desire to doing anything with them. To me that's scary. I'm not an expert but I think you see longer physical flatlines in more severe PIED over longer periods of time. It's just an observation from reading posts in these forums. I think it's your dick telling you I need time to heal. Not having erections is good because it's hard to give into urges with no wood but it's also maddening because you have no way to release the urges. You can exercise till kingdom come Nothing helps an urge better than cleaning out the pipes (MO).
