Hi, I am here because I want this to be my first complete month without PMO.
    • I am participating in "Hard mode"
    • At the very least I want to reach this month (30 days) without PMO
    • My goal is to start the new year with at least some healing done, and then continue adding days without PMO (I just got tired of this). This milestone is just one of the many I want to reach until I am finally free from Porn
    • I am doing this because I want to improve my life, and I can't do that with a huge burden (pornography) dragging me.

I do not plan on any PMO at all. I also have no spouse at the moment, so I'm filing a claim for hard mode.
    • I wish to beat my old streak from this time last year, but additionally to start off the new year stronger and becoming a bull by not planning to ever PMO again.
    • My goal is to be the MASTER OF MY DOMAIN. To hold in all of my masculine power and ascend to the next level of manliness.
    • I need to keep my energy levels up, keep my mind clean of fog, and reach new heights of masculinity.

After edging the last few days count me in. I've come a very long way so far, and I'm at the point where my foot is coming down and I'm ready to say no forever.

    Let do this!

I plan on committing myself to 90 days of no PMO (and hopefully longer).
    Bring on 2016.

Conversely, experienced rebooters may choose to engage in a more intense regimen. Taking on an extreme challenge can be very motivating for some people! When a rebooter takes on extreme disciplines during their challenge, we refer to this as “Monk Mode.”

Monk Mode is a loosely defined term, first adopted by NoFap’s awesome community rather than NoFap itself. Some components of a Monk Mode reboot might include unplugging from any media which could contain sexual imagery, including television, YouTube, and social media. Monk Mode rebooters might abstain from losing themselves in sexual fantasy by instituting a “five second rule” for entertaining any sexual thoughts. Monk Mode rebooters in relationships might even agree with their partners to swear off all sexual contact for the duration of the reboot, including non-orgasmic contact.

People doing a Monk Mode reboot might also attempt to include intense discipline in other areas of their lives, like attempting a high-intensity workout regimen or fasting.

One consequence of Monk Mode might lie in biting off more than you can chew. The idea of attempting an extreme reboot can seem appealing in its stark simplicity, especially to pornography addicts who, like all addicts, may be all-or-nothing thinkers. But those without experience rebooting might be setting themselves up for failure if they are unable to maintain Monk Mode and subsequently become too discouraged to try again.

I am going to up the ante this month. I did bite off a bit more than I could chew last month by trying to eliminate mindless web browsing. I think the list below is a bit more realistic.
    • No TV (including internet TV shows this time)
    • No Movies
    • No social media of any type (Youtube allowed for educational purposes)
    • No porn
    • No p-subs
    • No edging
    • No M, MO, PMO
    • No deliberate losing myself in sexual fantasy (takes me about 20-60 seconds for me to realize what I am doing)
    • No sex, no dating.
    • Telephone use for emergency purposes only (work phone is my only business phone).
    • No caffeine (stopped 11/27 and need a break).
    • Running 20-30 miles per week.
If I think of more I'll add it later.

First time poster, I'm in for:
    • Hard Mode.
    • My first goal will be to finish the 30 day challenge. Ideally, I would do the same for the next two months to reach 90 days. My ultimate goal is to live a PMO free life.
    • I am doing this so that I can establish a better relationship with God, and to free myself from the regret that I have created in my life. I want to live up to my full potential, and this addiction is blocking me from that.
I will start looking for an AP soon (preferably Christian/Messianic).

Day 25 today, had a little dopamine rush yesterday. Urges are creeping in everyday but so far I manage to kick them out, cold showers are helping a lot I guess. I just realised this is my longest streak in almost 4 years, and this time it feels like Ive created some good momentum to keep on going.

Some benifits I notive so far:
    - getting more and more productive everyday (for me this is a huge motivation to keep on going with this nofapthing)
    - improved focus and concentration.
    - the feel of guilt towards my gf is slowly disappearing (another HUGE motivation)
    - appreciate music more and more, I find myself jammin to some music now and then and it feels GREAT.
    - better sleep, having some headaches when waking up because Im getting into some deep dreams every night.
    - feeling more rested than before when waking up, could be placebo since Im getting my sleep schedule on point.
    - better communication and eyecontact with people.
    - less procastinating about small things, Im taking care of thing more easily and Im doing them right away instead of procastinating about it.
    - boners are getting insane, it wont take long before I get a WD I guess.
    - better workouts, im feeling more energized.
    - I actually enjoy the cold showers (3 minutes medium/hot then finish of with 3 minute ice cold).

For all you bretheren on day 0-30 just keep on going, dont give in to the urges and find something that will KILL your urges. For me, cold showers and music kill my urges. So give it a try when u want to fap so bad u cant think about anything else.
