You can’t turn gay or bi bro. Your going to have to tough out these next few weeks, no PMO and no checking for reassurance.

The only way you’ll be able to beat HOCD is by doing nothing, literally, every time you get a thought, no matter how much it bothers you or how much anxiety it causes you, do not do anything about it. Even if you feel nothing towards the thoughts or you don’t feel disgust, still do not react to it. If the anxiety gets too strong then just say I don’t care if I’m gay.

The reality is it isn’t bad to be gay or bi, and if you truly are, it wouldn’t cause you this much distress. If you can accept that being gay or bi is fine, and won’t change who you are, then you will beat HOCD and realize the truth... that you are not gay or bi.

This is extremely hard, I am working on this myself right now. My biggest problem is my porn addiction and I’m working my way out it right now, you may just be struggling with pure HOCD so you must let the thoughts go. In all honesty, we may both have pure HOCD because like I said, this is my second time with HOCD and it’s not really porn induced since gay porn doesn’t turn me on.

 

I have tried to accept that I’m gay/bi numerous times, idk I will just let it go on its own
