No MO until you get laid challenge (for beginners and introverts)

This challenge is for those of you who are single but want a boyfriend/girlfriend/theythemfriend (whoever you're into).

This challenge is done to motivate you to look for a significant other.

As the title suggests, the challenge is simple - you do not masturbate until you have sex with someone (consensually, obviously). If you find someone to have sex with tomorrow, then excellent - the challenge only lasts one day for you. If it takes you 5 years, then you'll abstain from P, M, and O for 5 years. However long it takes.

After you complete the challenge, feel free to MO (without porn) as much as you want, unless you're doing some other challenge/have some other goals that forbid this.

The point of this challenge is to make you sexually frustrated - enough that the frustration will help you overcome the fear of talking to members of your preferred sex.

Try to check in regularly to say how many people you've approached/asked out each day, and how close you've gotten to reaching the goal of getting laid.

Here's some helpful advice

 

"Hoeflation" is a myth we tell ourselves to induce self-pity and to make excuses for not trying to improve our social skills. The thought process goes along the lines of "It's someone else's fault and not my own that I can't get a girlfriend."

Take ownership of your problems, and take ownership of your solutions to those problems, instead of pointing fingers and blaming other people, or blaming "hoeflation," or blaming society, or blaming anyone else.

I suggest watching this video about the lesson of taking full ownership of one's problems and one's actions.

 

In the last three days, I approached 30 women to compliment them. I didn't introduce myself or stay to talk later or try to ask them out.

In fact, 90% of the conversations went something like this

Me: "Excuse me."
Her: "Yes?"
Me: "I really like your sweater."
Her: "Oh, thank you"

and then I would leave.

I only did it to help desensitize myself and make myself no longer afraid of talking to women. Once I'm comfortable, I'll add more elements to the process. After complimenting 50 women, I'll introduce myself too. After I compliment and introduce myself to 50 women, I'll start to ask them out.

Welcome, my friend! I'm glad you're doing the challenge with me!

I should stress that, for this challenge to work, you MUST abstain from MO completely! If not, you're admitting you've given up on the possibility of getting a relationship.

Anytime you get an urge to MO just tell yourself:

"If I MO now, I'll never get a girlfriend."

That strategy works for me every time. That's why I haven't had any major slip-ups or any relapses since I started NoFap over 5 months ago.

I don't care how much effort this takes - I want to lose my virginity. I've never had a real relationship, and I don't want to live my whole life without ever finding out what it's like to be romantically loved, and without ever having real genuine sex.

I'm sick of wallowing in self-pity, and am sick of being a "volunteer victim." It's time I change things and turn my life around!

Just out of curiosity, have you ever had a relationship before?

 

I just remembered that I forgot to update my "approach counter" yesterday evening. I talked to 3 girls and introduced myself to 2 of them yesterday. I also complimented and introduced myself to a girl this morning.

The girl I talked to today was heating a bagel at the bagel station in my dining hall, and I was next in line (there were only two of us there). The approach went very naturally. I told her that everyone liked the cream cheese bagels and that she also had good taste for liking them. She laughed, and I asked her her name. Then I told her mine. I chatted for a few seconds about what the origins of her name were, and then I said goodbye and went to take an exam.

This is by far the best approach I've had so far, although I didn't ask her for her number of anything.

Introduced myself to two girls at once. I interrupted them while they were eating, and the whole approach was very forced. Then again, I don't care about the fact that this was awkward. For now, I'm just trying to learn how to not take things personally, not how to get people to like me.

My story is more simple. I'm a college student. I've never had a real relationship and I've never gotten laid, and I want to change that. (Throughout the years, I've somehow managed to land dates with a few girls/women, but none of them truly evolved into an actual relationship.)

The only thing I'd recommend is to avoid Tinder. In my experience, it was really bad for my mental health, because I would see (and send likes to) thousands of gorgeous half-naked women every month, but would receive zero likes (I'm not kidding - I had Tinder for several months, and I didn't get a single like the whole time.) Tinder really made me doubt my self worth.

 

I forgot to update my progress in the last few days.

I'll detail my best interaction so far:

I was in the diner when I walked past a gorgeous girl talking with her friend sitting with both feet on her chair, slightly resembling a frog about to jump. I walked up to them and teased her a little bit. (I pointed out how she was sitting, called her a "frog girl", and asked her if she had a 5-foot-long tongue to catch squirrels with.) She and her friend giggled the whole time I talked to them. Eventually, I asked them their names and went to sit down with my friends (who were a few tables away). A few minutes later, on my way out from the dining hall, I saw the "frog girl" making eye contact with me and smiling.

I still didn't give anyone my number or ask anyone out though. So far, my only goal is desensitization for my approach anxiety.
