hey guys, pretty sure i know the answer to this already but just looking for some confirmation.
i was floating around instagram while hungover and feeling pretty down (all three are big triggers) and i ended up looking at posts that had girls kissing and women in bikinis etc. would you count that as a slip up? i managed to stop myself before looking up anything more graphic.

Your counter says no porn and no masturbation. Psubs can be considered to be part of porn. Some say it is, others don't. It's up to you to decide what a psub is. For me, seeing them is a trigger because it floods the dopamine in the brain.

You'd know if a psub cause you to feel a rush in your body (i.e. hormones, etc), then that would be a relapse.

As for sex, I have noticed the best sex tend to start with focusing on women so that way she's aroused first and she "takes over". so I agree with one other guy who mentioned that. Focus on the girl, don't think about cumming too fast. Just focus on her first.

I agree with the other guy that says the missionary position is good. Doggie position is good for pacing too.

It's a nice feeling when you like a girl. Been there. Hang in brother.

yeah i reset my timer. and i hate to admit it, but i ended up looking at straight up porn. i'm really glad i made 63 days, but i really want this to stop. i think i might stop drinking for a while. if i'm ever hungover it's really a dangerous time.

hey guys, haven't been on for ages. my counter might take a few hours to update, but i just PMOd for the first time in months. not feeling good about it. i was bored today, started looking at instagram which is a trigger for me. i've got to keep myself busy. i've tried so many times to beat this. i've definitely improved, i PMO way less than i used to, but i want to be totally rid of it. the healthier i am, the better chance i have. i'm going to try and sleep well, eat well and get more exercise. hope everyone who is reading this is doing well.

i'm disappointed this is still an issue for me. i turned 30 recently, and thought i would be over this by now.
part of my plan is to try and write in here a bit more. i think it helps to keep me motivated. maybe someone will find it useful to read.
when i think i don't have a problem and i'm totally over it, that's when it's danger time. so if i keep writing in here i'm hoping it will remind me that i have a problem, even when i'm totally sure i'm over it.

Hey. We've all been there-- it's called being a man with hormones and liking women, so go easy on yourself. :)

I personally didn't start improving until I started giving myself reasons to abstain. I feel friendlier, happier, and more driven when I do so. Having an upcoming date or social engagement motivates me to want to feel that way.

it's been a little tough lately. i was flicking around on TV last night and this mildly provocative show came on. saw some breasts. changed the channel, but could definitely feel the urge to keep watching. i've been looking at instagram a lot recently, which i know i should stop. it's often a gateway for me, where i start to look at slightly titillating things on there and then next minute i'm on to the harder stuff. so maybe i'll go back to my original rule of just looking at instagram on the toilet. anyway, keep going everyone!

Way to go man!! Happy for you. Can you describe what it's like emotionally and socially after the first 15 days or so? Because when I get to Day 10 I'm literally about to pop from the horniness

hhmmm i'd say the road is different for everyone. i'm on some mood stabilising medication at the moment, which i think decreased my libido somewhat, so it made it easier i think. having said that, i haven't done that 'hard' thing, i was seeing dating someone and was sleeping with her so that made it easier. i remember when i was really horny the first time i tried to quit i would sometimes drink quite a lot of water before going to sleep in the hope of having a wet dream. maybe that's cheating, but it help ease the tension in a way that didn't make me feel weird
