@GrittyRunning I find it very interesting that your requirements for an AP are that she's a female who doesn't hate men. That's literally all you want! ZERO requirements on her past experiences with lust addiction or experiences with being hurt/traumatized by a lust addict. Nothing on her approach toward speaking to you about mistakes made in your addiction. Nothing about being honest with her own lust-related mishaps. Not even anything about no personal phonecards or live communication.

I understand that, but my point here is that you're coming off as someone who wants a low-key confidant for sex talk, and that's never been what being an AP is all about. AP's are there to help you in your recovery, and a heterosexual male trying to talk about his lust addictio to a heterosexual female, who are both addicted to lust, is either someone who doesn't realize how wrong that is because of how brand new he is to all this, or someone who doesn't really want sobriety....he wants a sex chat partner that he could be attracted to.

I mean, I get that part of it, but why wouldn't you just say you want an AP who doesn't hate men, and if it turns out to be someone, man or woman, gay or straight, that is inappropriate in any way, just kick them to the curb and find another one?
