Morning reviews. I added a paper notebook to my inventory. I'm going to speed up vocabulary memorization.
Yesterday I checked how long it takes me to do the Anki reviews for Spanish, memrise, duolingo (4-5 sessions to earn 2 inglots) and spanish dict (vocabulary practice twice and grammar practice sentences twice). I spent 1 hour. However, I also had learn the vocabulary I put into my paper notebook, so I learnt Spanish more than 1.5 hours. Also Anki for English took me 30 minutes because I did reviews for Monday as well to reduce the stress on a work day with fewer numbers of reviews (now I have 28 and 12 for English and Spanish respectively instead of 120 and 50).
I ruined my spanish dict streak - it shows day 1 I was late by an hour. But I did one session with duolingo to maintain the streak. I've done memrise, anki - 80 reviews, additional 4 sessions of duolingo. I'm back in the game.
I devised a plan for my reviews - three modes: - minimal (for busy days) - Spanish anki (about 40-50 reviews), spanish dict - 1 session vocabulary, duolingo - 1 session - regular - Spanish anki (about 40-50 reviews + reviews 1 day ahead), spanish dict - 1 session vocabulary + 1 sesson grammar, memrise (about 40 reviews), duolingo - 5 sessions - hardcore - regular + notebook or book Today - I did the regular mode.
A lot of reviews today. I'm going to learn Spanish within two years. I want to be fluent before summer of 2024.
Spanish as usual despite adversity but this time I will focus more on vocabulary. I need to learn the words by heart.
Spanish minimal but it's not learning. I guess 1 hour is a must, plus each time I should have learnt vocabulary.
Spanish as usual. It required a lot of energy to get myself started. It was a hard and long day at work. I was out of energy. But Spanish is my goal! If I learn it, it will boost my confidence. If I fail, no... out of the question. No negative self-talk. Puedo hacerlo.
Duolingo challenge made me really angry. It allows only 3 mistakes to close a unit. I'd attempted it 6 times before I finally made it. In fact I don't understand indirect objects in Spanish. P never bugs me during the process. That's the price of hard dopamine. You may try hard and gain nothing. Whereas if you relapse, the reward is guaranteed.
