It's been one year since d-day

I found a pornographic website in my husband's browser history on his phone and confronted him. At the time I was filled with pure rage; sadness would follow. There's nothing like that feeling when the bottom falls out from beneath you and the perfect person you thought you knew turns out to be a liar. (The addiction diagnosis wouldn't come for another three months.) I can remember the disgust and the anger as if it were yesterday. They warned me that the anniversary of the date would be emotional, and even though I ignored them, I suppose they were right. But here I am, putting me first and keeping my family together, despite crashing to the rock bottom of my life, still in love and he can celebrate one year of sobriety.
