is paying for sex harmful ?

I don't know if I can truly say I have an opinion on paying for sex seeing as I've never done it, but if I contributed an outside opinion I would think it wasn't healthy because it can lull your brain into a false reward system. You are talking about doing in non regularly and not in an addictive way? Like on a few occasions. I still think it is harmful because it's still just a fantasy, just played out in reality...if you understand what I'm trying to convey. In attempting to explain hookers or escorts I would almost equate it to pornography for those very same reasons. I think it's also detrimental financially, think about the things you could spend your money on vs. paying for an escort. Anyways as I was saying before even temporary I think it's harmful and not worth it in the long run. Is that the best version of yourself you think you can be?

 

I think that if done to take super tension out it could be a good thing. Just feeding your pleasure might increase the problem. So if you control going to paid sex it’s ok. If it controls you not.

 

I don't think so. It gets you in a fundamental Chaser Effect, so you want to give it to yourself afterwards again and again. That's not the solution.

 

For me it usually is
