DO NOT END NOW. Think of this as your first day. Think of how you would feel if you relapsed. I was once there, 6 months in, and I relapsed. I wish I had never succumbed to pornography. Edging has been the worst thing for me, man. DO NOT end your progress now. Continue onward as you have done, you have yet to see the benefits.

How long have you bee masturbating, and at what frequency?

  2. 7 years, 2 times at the start then each 2 or 3 days for about 3 years then escalate to weirder genres by searching at least 1hour for 4 years with some streaks(10-60 days). This current streak is my longest since then...

  3. It has been painfully slow for me mate but the turning points have been there every couple of months. Keep riding it out. The headaches in the prefrontal cortex and around my head have disappeared and that was intertwined with rebooting and I had the for over a year and half I'd say. For me I'm gonna be a two year case and over I hope it goes a lot smoother for you.

On the other hand, I never thought the reboot would have took all this time.

  5. I have read somewhere that with each year of addiction it takes 2 months to fully heal. Do you find this statement hold value in your 19 months pmo free?

  6. I couldn't tell you mate as I dont know what fully healed even means I haven't felt normal in a long, long time. I used porn for roughly 11-12 years. Five of those years spent trying to quit. But yeah going along that notion a two year timeframe seems reasonable for where I'm going. Who knows I'll just have to wait and see. But it definitely works and this is no placebo I've come a long way since taking recovery seriously. A lot of symptoms vanished. The biggest being the unbearable anxiety and the breathing issue with racing thoughts.

Why do you go and search for porn and not a real woman? I want to understand this from your perspective.

  11. I couldn't go out let alone socialized with people as my reboot was unbearable 7 months ago. A bunch of withdrawals symptoms such as depression, muscles stiffness, restlessness, pied, anhedonia and a lot more.... So I'm doing nofap monkmode to heal my fhck up brain from pmo damages.

It doesn't look like these are caused by porn addiction, these seem like separate issues. If you haven't PIED or lost your libido then as far as porn goes, just reduce your consumption and go and find a woman to have sex with. Doesbt have to be a girlfriend.

When you PIED what happened? Sure it wasn't performance anxiety?

  15. Close to 10 months now, in withdrawals almost a week now. I've slept in withdrawals and woke up with withdrawals. Head tingling sensation and pressure returned and tremors. Feel like nerves are being repaired from head to feet.
