For motivational purposes I searched #nofap on Instagram. Not a big succes, at least 10% are sexy or suggestive posts. Especially if you're easy triggered. Now I know that it would probably be for the best to avoid IG all together, might try that. I already "rooted out" the sexy/suggestive post in the Explore-page so I should be okay. Just wanted to give an heads up. Cheers. CIERO
Wow you did 13 days with Instagram in your phone. Hats off I wonder how many days you can do if you remove Instagram.
My first attempt on NoFap could have went a whole lot better. I constantly teased myself with things... including eye-candy from Instagram. After that first relapse, I realized I had to go "hard mode". I removed Instagram AND Snapchat. To be honest, I didn't miss either. Even with non-P content, I would waste my time scrolling through animal videos, friends and their "good life" pics with them getting married, having lots of babies... but I digress... anyways after I removed IG and Snapchat, I found that I did NOT miss those apps! It's been over a year, I am back on Instagram, but I am cautious. I have permanently removed Snapchat. I have for the most rewired myself. If I scroll through IG, I am cautious, and I am not that triggered anymore. If anyone is considering to remove IG (whether permanently or for a little while), I endorse it! It's a fantastic idea!!
That is an overgeneralisation IMO @2525. I use social media, Facebook, and I've never seen a p/sub there. Others have said they exist on that platform. However, it seems in most cases they were searching for them. Or they were not so judicious about their 'friends'. I use Facebook daily, but just have a handful of contacts none of which are triggering.
