I hear you. I will say I think most of us with our collections have similar feelings. I had one video I knew I couldn't find anymore, but I was waiting for years for the particular star to release. Because of the hype around it, it quickly disappeared. I lost it when I deleted my collection. My collection went back 20 years. You can do this, and it can provide healing, when you are ready.

Delete it mate. Let go of your baggage. Keeping a porn collection on nofap is akin to tying a cement block to your leg before a race.

  4. I deleted all the P from my phone right before starting my recovery. Best decision ever :emoji_grinning:

Yes, you must delete all the P you have saved on your device if you want to have a successful reboot or it could trigger you. Avoid that. Focus on all the benefits of your reboot

I understand that you want to get rid of that material but at the same time you are holding onto that. Wrong. DELETE ALL THE P COLLECTION. Do what you gotta do. You don't need that stuff. Keep moving forward :emoji_footprints: Congratulations on your reboot :emoji_handshake:

If you were a crack addict who managed to get clean for several months, would you keep a few rocks hidden in your drawer "just in case?"

I never had a porn collection just a list of sites I would go to habitually. If you have a collection I would advise you to delete immediately. Every step you can take to getting it out of your life is a good step.

You are just sentimentally attached to them. You feel like they mean something to you and that you worked hard to collect them and if you delete them it was all for nothing. But you need to get over it and delete every single part of this collection. You cannot say that you are in a Nofap journey and have a P collection. It is like being a drug addict, going to rehab but still having drugs in his basement/storage area.Like how the heck is this even logical?

Delete the collection and everything else related to P you might have.If you want to reboot and become healthier you cannot simply have a P collection. For example i had a favorite P movie that i watched a lot of times but i deleted it.I made a mistake though in the beginning not deleting everything in my PC and guess what?Yes i gave in and watched a P movie stored in my PC.You have no intention now to watch them but sometime later you might want to watch them and then you will stumble across them "by accident" and you will want to watch just a small part in the beginning. But then you will watch some more and some more, damage your journey and fap. After that happens you will fap again and again and it will be harder to start NoFap again

Just delete all of them and empty the recycling bin afterwards. There is no other solution. This is the only way to succeed by cutting all ties to your past life

You don't want to delete it because certain scenes give you amazing dopamine rushes. It are scenes that where so amazing you orgasme more then once to it. we all seen video's like that.

We see them on the internet or porn site and we download them so we can rewatch them because they where so hot.

I’ve had a similar porn collection and each time I deleted my “collection “ I soon saw myself searching for those video’s I deleted and downloading them again.

I get why you don’t want to delete them but know that destroying those video’s and not looking them up again is a major change to youre addiction you ae destroying a huge dopamine kick.

And lets be honest lets say you are clean and have a family?

do you want you’re kid find out you’re porn collection? Watch this funny video of scrubs :

its better to break and remove the past our it will haunt you

I still have a "porn flashbacks" wich causes me to cum inside my pants through the day even at my work from certain scenes i really liked.. Thats how much porn can mess with you and thats why you keep the collection..

I used to have collections, as well. Different actresses, different websites. Some of them got lost in the process because the HDD broke down the rest I deleted.
I mean I am sorry that got lost but then again not really.
You can use whatever good metaphor to describe the feeling of having a stash of porn but the fact and the matter is, all that collecting, sorting is like taking all the bad things and say that, they are very valuable. My precious!!!!
I deleted all of them, including my personal porn...that is me and some partners!
If that thing is causing harm, that shit gotta go. Period!

Then again, I only made that commitment to deleting everything this week, so I get it.
    It's a process.

omg , u have a bigger balls then i do . I dont think i ready to do that commitment now . Just thinking of the idea deleting it makes me feel sad . I mean i really into NoFap challenge just ... i need more time .

  14. read what you wrote..."I had 500g of gangbang video and it best of the best gangbang video . Its a memory ."
It is a memory of you being a sexual pervert. Do you wanna keep being this person?

It is up to you but the point of being part of NoFap is to commit seriously in order to win over our addictions. You can do it! As long as you keep that stuff even hidden with locket you can bet what you want you'll get back to that. Avoid the temptation. Move on from all of that. You don't need that stuff

I never downloaded any porn but it seems like that should be the first thing you do if you don't want to PMO.

I've tried it many times. Also deleted and recovered my files with recovery programs... now I completely understand that feeling (hey! I've lost years to make that collection!) but that's not the good way of thinking about it in my opinion. It's like complaining about throwing away our cocaine jars just because we took months/years to build up that set of jars sorted by quality :)

That said, that's my braid speaking... I'm stuck with you at these part of the choice. Actually, I'm "clearing up" anything (Smarthphone, laptop, desktop) and I'm putting anything inside two old HDDs... I'm too coward at this very beginning point to delete that, yet I know that pics and videos would be hard to resist... so I'll start by eradicating anything, zipping anything, and putting that HDD out of my way. I know I'll have to delete/destroy that one day or another, still I feel like..... Jack Sparrow, and his "cocaine" jar :D Having it aside it's easier to resist at this moment, but just at this moment. Erasing time *must* arrive.

  17. That's really sad....

Think of all the better ways you could have spent your time. Seeing that folder on your computer should piss you off. It should be a constant reminder of how much of your life you've completely wasted.

It blows my mind that with the amount of porn content out there, that there are actually people that "save" porn like important work data. lol

  19. Just a couple more insane quotes to drive home the point I just made. You have some seriously big blinders up if you aren't able to see how sad this is and how much of your life you've wasted on this garbage. I sincerely hope you destroy those blinders and gain some perspective.

That's all complete BS justification. It's your addict self lying to you.

Let me ask you this. What do you have to lose? What's the worst that could happen? So you delete your folder and your regret it, so you start a new journey of searching for pictures and saving them... So what? Maybe then, when you're drudging through those pictures again and wasting so many precious hours of your life that you will never get back, you'll finally see how insane of a task that is. Time is our most precious, nonrenewable resource, and you've already wasted way too much of yours. Do yourself a favor and let that crap go. And then make up for lost time by living your life and getting off your computer.
