So, I’m thinking that ejaculation in general, both during sex, and the vast majority from PMO, starting around the age of 13-14, has significantly damaged my health.

I am still overall in good health… but I have had a major health scare years ago, and I also struggle with hypochondria to this day - an inner anxiety about my health

At this point in time, I think a long term relationship with regular sex with a girl would end up killing me (literally)

So I think I have no alternative but strict, 100% celibacy for the foreseeable future… maybe even for a very long time

I think my choices now are either:

    a) complete celibacy with no PMO/MO and regain my health

    b) fail to achieve strict celibacy and not recover my health

My only option is option “a”

I have no choice but to be a celibate… perhaps if a girl I really, really like, my so called “dream girl” wants to hang out, then I can make a judgement call at that point

but for right now, it is strict celibacy for life … only time I would deviate from this would be if I found a dream girl

.....why depend on people bro.......seems like you're doing...co-dependent on relationships.true we all have goals and likes of some people, but in my opinion don't set yourself up for failure is something doesn't go your way. And i can relate on those anxieties. Learn to work with them,do the 12 steps...and get out there and get active with a sport of your liking. It reduces stress.

Thanks for the reply. Yea I think it is true that I have some co-dependency with thinking I need a sexual relationship with a girl or something.

But at this point, I am talking about the physical effects of ejaculation. I think my health has been hurt by ejaculating so many times in my life. Starting with the first ejaculation around age 13-14... and then after this, a lot of times doing PMO and also having sex with some girls in my life.. all of these ejaculations have taken a toll on my body - I don't think there is any doubt about this. I also had a health scare about 5 years ago that happened right after having sex. So I think at least for me, ejaculation is really bad for my body.

Also, PMO has hurt me psychologically as well. Each time masturbation is done it has lowered my self-esteem. Combine masturbation with porn, and that lowers self-esteem even further. Ejaculation also makes someone more tired.. so the combination of lowered self-esteem plus feeling more tired is a recipe for disaster.

I think it is literally "do or die" right now. If I do not completely quit all sexual activity immediately, I risk very bad suffering in the future. I will not have sex any time soon, not at all. I will also not ejaculate anymore either.

I have been doing fairly well in 2024 so far. However, last week, I did PMO 3 times. This was my worst week in 2024. I noticed a strained neck very soon after these PMO sessions - the same day actually. So I think last week caused me to inadvertently strain my neck! That is how dangerous ejaculation can be... at least for me

I agree there are physical residues of our addictive negative actions. If there needs to be medical intervention so as to reduce or treat physical scars,I would persue treatment. However on the emotional scars,I would do the 12 steps that the program has here. And reach out to us.You're not alone in this bro.

Yes, it's better to walk alone, for a while atleast, to improve areas of our lives that need improvement. Pure Retention is the springboard that can give us the needed headspace, confidence, energy and time that can propel us forward.
