15 Days In...

    Hey guys, I'm new to the site and been NoFap for 15 days now. I've commented on some other threads but figured I should say hi here now that I've passed 2 weeks and starting to feel like a whole person again. Amazing how powerful NoFap is, meaning effectiveness in increasing vitality and energy and confidence. I take supplements too and meditate and do yoga every day, I'm kind of a self improvement junkie. When I discovered this site, I knew I could succeed with NoFap whereas for about 40 years now, I've been a mad fapper. Just knowing there are other people who pioneered this and everyone here supporting the idea, makes it easier. I've never gone more than 2-3 weeks without fapping. This 15 day mark, I don't think is the longest, I think I've gone 3 weeks before just don't know for sure. I love the Nofap Emergency App. Sometimes late night before I go to sleep, I check the app for quotes and inspiration and it's helped a couple of times. I already see more clarity in my eyes than I've seen in a long time. It means my mojo is coming back. Long time since I felt like I had anything close to mojo. I do wonder how it's gonna feel in another few days, week, month, etc. and if I'll be able to make it to 90. I feel like I will because I'm tired of succumbing to my urges and draining my fucking vitality, literally. Done with that. And once I get to 90 there's no way I'll want to do PMO. Not even MO. I'll just want to get laid at that point, and it's about time I get a new girlfriend anyway so this whole Nofap thing is fucking genius. I had to look up what fapping meant, cracked my shit up.

    Hi DJ thanks. First and foremost, I have made a commitment to myself and my word is bond. I believe my greatest strategy happened over the past 30+ years as I have become more and more aware how PMO has drained my vital energy and confidence, and I have fully indulged myself into every possible fetish and alternative lifestyle that ever interested me, I went for it in real life and even more in porn. I've literally exhausted myself and, like meth (which I successfully quit over 10 years ago), "I've had enough and there's nothing more it can offer me." That self awareness combined with all the self forgiveness I've had to muster for continually draining myself, now fuels my fire and commitment to succeed. So that's my background. As for strategies, I have some simple ones: come here to the forums every few days or as needed and check in with how others are doing. And check the Nofap Emergency app as needed for inspiration. And most important, doubling down on my self improvement practices (yoga, meditation, yoga nidra which is a guided relaxation and reprogramming tool for the subconscious, chanting with various musical instruments), exercise, fresh air and sunshine, eating healthy, reading empowering material, and being creative and productive and setting goals along the way to create and produce content. I'm on a mission. Nothing's gonna stop me. At least on Day 15 this is how I feel right now.
