Day 7 I am glad to make it to the one week mark! I am halfway there! Normally, Saturday would have a relapse, but my schedule for the weekend was unusual, so I could not fall into some of the same bad patterns. The semester is almost finally over for me, and I cannot wait for the summer so that I can gather myself and start fresh.
Up until a week ago, I was resetting my counter EVERY DAY. But one day I got to two and then three. Setting my goals low (like three days, then seven..). You'll get there. I've had times when I check off the HOURS until I hit 24. That is all I can do sometimes. Keep at it. It'll click at some point.
Day 5/14 Quick advice, the begginers do not try to tempt yourself by opening half naked ladies and a glimpse of pornography. There is no reward system in NOFAP challenge that invites you seeing/ take a glimpse of nudity/pornography/partial nudity. That is how relapse happens boys. Stay alert.
Day 8 My wife and I determined a consequence for relapse and reward for reaching one month of sobriety. The consequence is not being able to have homemade pizza on Sunday -- I love our homemade pizza (it's family recipe I grew up with) and spend a good part of the week looking forward to it, so it will hurt pretty hard. The reward for reaching one month is a bag of freshly roasted coffee from a local coffee roastery. I'm hoping that stakes like these will further motivate me to get and stay clean.
