    Keep working it. Read literature and journals, write messages and in your journal and answer the forums. Pick one or a bit in each - but working with others is part of the work. Spreading the message to those that still suffer.

  I've definitely been going through the same this as well being it's my first week. Start using these experiences to identify your triggers and just how hungry your brain is for a fix. Just do your best to ride it out and keep going.

    Fuck yeah it's tough! I didn't realize that I was addicted until this week when I saw how my mind was consumed by sexual thoughts, fantasies, and just wanting to get off. Recognizing that was a biggie for me.

    Definitely!! You don't question it until you actually try to stop. It consumes every part of your daily life.
    
    One thing that has been helping is angry birds funnily enough whenever I feel an urge I'll spend a bit of time playing games to distract me.

22 year old, queer, porn addict from the UK. It's taken me 6/7 years to finally accept that I'm addicted to porn and I actually hate myself for it. It's taking over my life. I'm unemployed and very lonely and I use porn as a way to fill a void in my life and my soul (as sad as that may sound.) I'm mentally ill, currently seeing a psychiatrist as they are investigating that I may have schizoaffective disorder or borderline personality disorder.

I'd love to make something of my life and make my parents proud but it's just not happening atm :/ this is day one of my recovery.
