It takes about a day to recover. That's why people have chest day one day and the next back day (different for everybody). But nobody would really do benching everyday and dumbbell flyes. The muscle fibers need to repair for that day. I actually put 2 days in between chest day and when is chest day I work it really hard, like I did this morn. The muscle fibers tear and they need to repair themselves with protein. That's how muscles grow. This is the same for other muscles as well. The one exception can be abs/core. You are probably right! That's what I heared from many others too. I don't know, somehow I feel a urgency to workout everyday. I can't rest at the moment. Maybe it's because of the energy that I gained through nofap. Maybe the 1day-rest ist for people to jack off!?That's just a theory
Work your other muscles! Pushup really only work chest, triceps, and some upper back muscles (depending on hand placement). I have energy to workout everyday as well so I work everything while the other muscles are healing. Taking turns you know
