While they make it easier in the short term, I find that when I use app or blockers, I end up using my time trying to defeat the various aps / blockers, so that I can get to the porn reward.
There isn't one single software example I haven't managed to beat so far.
I believe that your willpower is the best method of blocking, and it's the best method of recovery.
That way, it puts you squarely in the driving seat.
You are making the decision not to look, instead of being at the mercy of a piece of software.
