If you do duolingo, it's possible. For me, revision makes sense. There are some words which I learn very easily and some that I need to cram.

 

Bro I have ascended past duolingo lol I got level five in all lessons

 

Writing this essay took FREAKING FOREVER. But if I want to get into C-level fluency, that's the price I gotta pay. Leggoooo

 

Finished Silence. It's just as harrowing and thought provoking as the movie I watched, but with more introspection on how one's experiences matches with the gospels.

I held a reading session for the book Siddhartha. Should finish it in several weeks, I believe. If I have time, I'd like to do Silence next. Very well worth the reading in German.

 

I decided to add to my German learning routine the watching of the tagesthemen section of the Tagesschau news. They go into deeper analysis of the news discussed that day and there's always a chance to learn new words. Good stuff.

 

Did another Siddhartha reading session! I made a little Kahoot quiz to go over the vocabulary encountered in the reading, so that's fun.

I'm learning german language and had a question.
I came across this sentence:
ich wohne mit meiner kleinen Schwester

mit is dativ preposition so meine becomes meiner.
Shouldn't kleine also have become kleiner?
Why is it kleinen?

 

Maybe it's plural - sisters. Schwester has the same singular and plural as far as I remember.

 

the plural for schwester is schwestern.
Even below sentences have kleinen in google translation

Ich lebe mit meiner kleinen Katze

 

You’re declining a der word with an adjective. In the dative, no matter what gender, the adjective after the der word always ends in en.

Might as well update my progress. Finished another book, which puts me at 16 books read in German. Only 121 more to virtual fluency.

 

I've done 2 hours of active listening in English.
I read and wrote as well, and for the first time, I've done shadowing with a podcaster I like.

 

I'm basically binging this website and its YouTube channel in my spare time.
