So I have been a big fan of Tony Robbins for a very long time, but I am thinking if there are other self-improvement books that worth reading during Nofap? I have something in mind like Outliers and Dale Carnegie. But what else? I need a bit more motivational and inspirational type of stuff to fill myself.
Here are my favorites: The Power of Intention, Waye Dyer The Slight Edge, Jeff Olson The One Thing, Keller (forget his first name) How to Win Friends, Dale Carnegie You Can Heal Your Life, Louise Hay 7 Habbits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey The Secret, Rhonda Burn Harmonic Wealth, James Arthur Ray Think and Grow Rich, Napolean Hill Mel Robbins, The 5 Second Rule (she's amazing, check out her youtube channel.) The Way of the Superior Man, David Deida
i think we should add Marnia Robinson book Cupids Poisoned Arrow, i think its a must for every nofapper.
I just looked into this one a little. What is it about? Is she advocating something similar to Karezza?
I am a big fan of "As A Man Thinketh" by James Allen (1903) and Earl Nightingale's "The Strangest Secret" (1957). I'm sure both can be found online if you look hard enough, and both are audio books uploaded to YouTube I'm certain.
I guess my recommendations would be : 12 Rules For Life by Jordan Peterson, Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins, and maybe Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink.
Reading other books can be a start and somewhat helpful , HOW ABOUT YOU START WRITING THE STORY OF YOUR LIFE NOW, BE THE HERO OF YOUR OWN STORY DOING YOUR OWN THING YOUR WAY WITH NO APOLOGIZE NOT LOOKING TO OTHERS FOR PERSMISSION TO BE YOU AND DO WHAT YOU DO
"Rewire Your Brain: Think Your Way to a Better Life" by John Arden "The Brain That Changes Itself" by Norman Doidge "No More Mr Nice Guy" by Robert Glover "The Willpower Instinct" by Kelly McGonigal
"The Slight Edge" is amazing indeed! Can be a life changer, depending on how you implement its principles
The Willpower Instinct by Kelly McGonagall. Very good explanations on how the brain works, how dopamine works, what drives us, and, most importantly, many good tips on how to strengthen your willpower.
