Also, going back to the cocaine vs heroin come-down thing, from what I'm reading, there really is no comedown with heroin like there is with coke and other stimulants. If you ask me, this makes it more dangerous because a nasty comedown usually discourages further use, at least for me. Withdrawals are entirely different though. Makes me wonder if coke does more havoc on your body because of it having a comedown and not heroin. Either way, heroin has a far, far lower ld50 level.

 

I've had strong cocaine it smelt like some kind of chemical I cannot describe. Inorganic that's for sure

 

I've had very scary comedowns on cocaine. Practically suicidal tendencies and thats why I don't frequent it ever. Though the common variable was being alone. After the party everyone went on their own thing, but all I had was a pit of loneliness. This was with conservative doses. And not being able to sleep was dreadful. I'd have to save a strong bowl hit to ensure it could tire me out.

 

And that's just why opiates are so dangerous: They truly numb out your problems and loneliness.

 

I'm telling ya'll right now from direct experience, DO NOT BY ANY MEANS use drugs or any mind-altering substances to numb out your porn withdrawals. I began watching porn at the age of 8 years old, I'm currently 18 and am a full blown drug addict. I just got out of rehab earlier this year and am coming up on 10 months sober. STILL STRUGGLING WITH PORN but it is not freaking anywhere close to how bad I felt while chasing highs 24/7. You don't want to end up like this. My addict brain BEGAN FROM watching porn at an early age.

 

No professional would recommend anyone quit PMO by using heroin dude wtf?!!

This just is a bad idea I am not trying to belittle you. This is not safe and not a strategy at all.

I can can definitely say it's easier to quit heroin than pmo. Which is really weird. Heroin makes you physically dependent, while pmo is mostly mental but pmo latches on harder than heroin.

Anyway I'm glad you're getting off opiates. I went through the withdrawal process earlier this year and have been clean off it since. It's a pretty fucked up drug. Glad to hear you're getting through it man.

 

Professionals don't really have a very successful track record of helping people. Most of the people who quit their vices find a way to do it on their own.

 

You're getting rid of two addictions at once.Good job.

I don't know if you have ever experienced the itch before.
I've done the big withdrawal twice.
It comes after a successful detoxed state...
Usually around a week or so later.
Maybe ten days.
You will get Super horny.
It'll hit you like a rush
Sometimes it makes people want the drugs... Then sex.
This is the messed up brain rationale.
(well, usually... But then they forget the sex part, obviously)

Tbf porn addiction is affected by one's will and attitude. It's mental addiction, taking drugs doesn't make you stronger if anything your a ticking time bomb, this will be your go to outlet. However like you said your already in it, so my advice would be don't do heroin again.

You're not the only one here. I take issue with it and with the attitude being present that opiat withdrawals are nothing compared to porn withdrawals. Opiat withdrawals also do not just last only 3 days, so the OP either doesn't know what he's talking about or he wasn't deep into heroin. I've gone through withdrawals and the first stage which lasts about a week is the worst and then the month after isn't a fun ride either.

This idea that pmo withdrawals are harder is ridiculous! I would rather take a flatline over an opiate withdrawal seizure any day! ANY FUCKING DAY! People quitting porn don't need detox facilities people nor do they face symptoms (seizures) which could kill them.


Also don't get me wrong, if the OP has an addiction to opiates and is stopping them then I think that's fantastic! But anyone reading this thread needs to understand that pmo withdrawals are nowhere near as bad as opiate withdrawals and that it is insane to think herion is an appropriate way to stop pmo addiction. That type of thinking alone should be a sign that a person needs some serious professional help.
