    My thoughts are with you.

I don't know a lot of heroin addiction, but I understand that opiate withdrawals can require medical support depending on how badly you were addiction. Before it gets bad, you may want to lookup some information on this so you will be prepared.

I wish you the best and look forward to helping celebrate your sobriety.

Opiate withdrawal makes your emotions come back hardcore. I'm remembering all the things I've done to my parents and people. My childhood memories. How fucked up the world can be.

Still this was necessary to defeat my porn addiction.
Porn addiction is hell. Now I got 18 days as a jumpstart.

After going through both opiate and porn withdrawal I can say porn withdrawal is far worse.

Opiate withdrawal last about 3 days.
Porn withdrawal last almost a month.

That's why I did heroin, to get through the porn withdrawal.

  6. DAMN! Boy does that say a whole lot about porn! Man, I know you can get through this. The worst I've done for opiates was Oxycontin. Never looked back. But yeah, they do go away after three days or so. It's better to quit it entirely now while you aren't severely addicted like the worst of the worst. The thing that really scares me about heroin is how it's one of the easiest drugs to overdose on. Although they're not any better, meth and cocaine, especially cocaine, are quite difficult to overdose on. Opiates, on the other hand, are too easy to overdose on, slip into bliss and never wake up again.

  7. Just please realize that you are dealing with a drug that are one of the easiest class of drugs to overdose on. For those who lost friends to heroin overdoses: Just know that it was NOT suicide, 9 out of ten times. They simply tried to get too high one time and over did it. Again, I wouldn't be overly concerned if it was a drug that's harder to overdoes on, like cocaine, but opitates, especially heroin, is all too easy to overdose on.

  8. I believe that the sheer lethalness of heroin is what makes it so dangerous, not so much that it takes three days to get clean, but I've never done it, so don't know what it really entails.

  9. I'm quitting weed with PMO and its hard enough. Opiate withdrawl is no joke. Good luck getting through the three days. nice job on the 18 days.

  10. Yeah I heard opiates withdrawals are hell, but I've never really done the harder ones. Great job on quitting weed and PMO by the way!

I might be the only one here, but I just don't see the best out of the do heroin to quit PMO situation. That seems very extreme and not heroicly extreme by any means.

  13. I can vouch for this. Fortunately, I've never done heroin and never will, primarily because I have a very addictive and overindulgent personality and probably would wind up dead from trying to beat the 'record high.' However, I definitely agree that using one drug in substitute for another really doesn't work out. It's best just to face it head on.

  14. I understand using morphine and heroin for extreme pain, whether mental or physical. Diamorphine in the hospitals is just a fancy word for heroin. I believe God created poppy plants for a reason, but never, ever meant to be recreational, only reserved for those in extreme pain. The only thing I'm getting at is: Are your porn withdrawals THAT bad and painful that you need to numb yourself with opiates? I'm just trying to find out more information here. I can definitely see where you are coming from when you say pornography is more addicting. I totally get that. The only thing about heroin, or any opiate really, is that it can kill you, not to mention it's sneaky trap, like every other drug.

By the way, props for coming out with it. You don't hear too many people even admit that they use it.

You're gonna bookmark this relief again when you're hurting and come back to the drug for the next heartache. And that's an unacceptable pattern as far as human life is concerned

  16. What's really weird and interesting are the demographics of those who try heroin for the first time. Surprisingly, those who try it for the first time are in their mid to late 20s, but almost never under 20 years old. What has me scratching my head about this one is why would one try such a drug much later in life where they're able to make more mature decisions? My guess could be financial reasons, curiosity, or what have you. Maybe the taboo of heroin goes away with age? Maybe it's more obtainable by this age group? Who knows, but I always thought of heroin users as teens, at the very most early 20s. Another interesting fact is that heroin addicts do not look like what you'd think. There are many people out there that you wouldn't dream of doing heroin, but you'd be surprised what us "good guys" can get into. hehe

Our local gangs dish out heroin as cocaine to their chicks. They end up getting hooked to the drug, then hooked to the supplier

  18. That's horrible. Just an fyi, cocaine has a very distinct taste and is almost impossible to mistake for anything else. Very distinct taste. Think gasoline, but different. Hard to describe.

  19. Gosh I could only imagine what he's going through. Coming off cocaine and withdrawals is bad enough, I can't imagine what heroin withdrawals would be like. I just stick with beer and weed now, but I got to cut down on those too.

  20. I think the numbers and demographics are changing due to the opioid epedemic. In the day the likely user was probably a younger to middle age black guy but now the most common users are mid to upper class middle age white women. Doctors have been handing out opioid based pain killers like candy and making tons of money doing it. Since doctors aren't supposed to actually be dealing drugs they can only do it so long. All this time you had upper middle class people getting fucked up. The doctor cuts them off but they still want to get high. Next thing you know they're slammin that heron.
