Freud has been proven wrong about pretty much everything he ever said. I don't really consider him an authority on anything. I agree with what you're getting at but Freud is basically irrelevant nowadays.
If we start talking seriously about psychology and psychologists I'll end up saying something that not only gets me banned but put on a government watchlist.
