Today i am restrategizing. Body getting used to my withrawal routines. Going out today to be in public and meeting with my accountability partner

 

Today I want to feel awesome! 12 Days now, fuck PMO

 

Today I will not use p because I am not its slave

 

I will not pmo today because I’m heading to the capital

 

I will not PMO today because I am prepared.

 

PMO is bad, it makes you feel bad, it exhausts you and you feel bad afterwards. Living without it is the right way to live. I am glad I started again!

 

Today I do not use pmo because I no longer need it !

Alcohol was always a trigger for me to MO. I've been sober for over a week. I'm pretty sure it's just general boredom that creeps and the urges start. Today I will fill my downtime with constructive things to do other than M.

 

That is not true, at most they'll be ineffective, not destructive.

A good affirmation does not focus on the negative, only the positive. If you say to yourself "I will not use porn, I will not use porn, I will not use porn", you'll end up using porn because you're focusing so much on it.

This thread has many "I will not use porn because ...." in it which is better because you're pivoting to what you want instead. Plus as this is a group effort and we all feed off each others positivity there's a huge benefit there.

It would be better just to say "Today I will focus on increasing my dopamine receptors sensitivity and enjoy much more in life".

Ultimately it would be best to say "Today I will focus on enjoying more in my life and when I feel <whatever makes you want to look at p> I will <do what you want instead>. That is very specific which is better and provides a system that will replace the current negative habit.

Today I will not use porn because my life is improving, and even though I still experience pain and stress, my experience is more real, and I feel more real. I will not use porn to numb myself from reality no matter how hard it is. I'd rather feel than be dead inside.
