Hello friends, I have just discovered the *** The Exercise Challenge ***. It's a good idea to combine no PMO with sports. I just come back from a 40 km cycling tour with my road bike.
Today I walked an amazing 23,800 steps, 19.04 miles I walked to the local vihara, where the buddhist monks live, to celebrate their teacher's 91st birthday. It was 3 miles each way. I don't have a car, and the bus does not run on sunday. For some reason the monks gave everyone who came their own personal monk's robe. I wasn't expecting a birthday present on someone else's birthday lol Kettlebells 20#: Swings, Halos, Rows, Goblet Squats, and I forgot to do my Clean-and-Presses
Welcome back Frank! We missed you! <3 Awesome news man! Monks are SOOO COOL! Happy birthday to their teacher! Did a few plays with my 24 and 32 kg kettlebell. Currently I am loosing weight...got to sleep and eat more! Cheers! /Baldur
Just returned from a 36 km cycling tour. Great Thanks Baldur Nice to meet you again. We still have the same goal. Wishing you a lot of success.
Walked 11,342 steps, 9.07 miles Swings 20# (warmup) Left Rows 20# Right Rows 20# Halos 20# Left Press 20# Right Press 20# I really need to do more sets and earn my way to a heavier kettlebell.
I'm in! I am addicted to training anyway. Today: 22 km cycling 30 mins walking 40 pull-ups 50 push-ups 20 dips 9 meter climbing on brick wall 8 seconds flag exercise on each side 20 one hand bent-elbow jumps 48 hanging shoulder crosses I just invented the last two myself so here comes an explanation: one hand bent-elbow jumps: You run towards a metal bar or other object (I ran towards a handle that was pointing towards me, 2.2 m up) and then you jump and grab the thing with one hand and try to sustain a 90 degree angle with your elbow. hanging shoulder crosses: you use the bars that is normally used for doing dips. You put your feet on one of them while you hold the other one as you would do pull-ups. Then you release your left hand and cross it over your right shoulder, making your left shoulder almost touch the bar. then you do a few reps and switch side.
Walked 8,466 steps, & 6.77 miles. Kettlebells Goblet Squat 30# 1x12 Swing 30# 1x12 Rows 30# 1x14 ea Needed to switch to 20# for those Halos of Doom. Can barely press 30# overhead, so I might need to stay at 20# for now.
Just beginning. Lots of exercise going on in here. Now I feel like my routine might make people less motivated or people might even laugh at me. So, maybe I should not even do this challenge. But then that would be a letdown for myself. But something is better than nothing. So, I am doing the little bit of exercise. You know stretching my neck and legs sort rather than just doing just nothing at all. I am doing a little, because I am just starting. With time and inspiration I am gonna increase my workout. But till then, I will remain consistent with my strech exercise.
Welcome! Nothing to worry about here. Doing something, like walking, stretching, carrying groceries is a good start! Great to see that you still joined this challenge! Update: Did some deadlifts, front squats, dips, weighted chin ups and weighted carries. Followed by a bit of overhead presses with my kettlebell. After my training I finished with some foam rolling. Cheers brothers and sisters! /Baldur
5:00 min powerball 2:30 min plank 78 push-ups 466 reps w/ hand gripper 120 squats I've been tired today, I was too focused on training yesterday so I got to bed too late. Luckily someone told be it's a new day tomorrow
Took it easy today: walked 5,493 steps, and 4.39 miles. Did not do much kettlebell work. @Force Majeure How did you do 78 pull ups? The best I ever did was 6 of them.
Thank you for asking, I accidentally wrote pull-ups instead of push-ups, I corrected my post. 78 pull-ups would be awesome! I've been doing 22 pull-ups in a row today, more to come...
