I don't think so, any time I have any type of fruit or juice I get Gerd, but when I have soda once in a while it's okay. I do know if too much carbonation gets trapped when I drink that also sets it off too though. Water is too bland for me, I can't drink a whole lot of it, I really want those flavoured scented cups on kickstarter I hear are pretty good.
I haven't drank soda since almost 10 years ago. I have hyperactivity issues as it is, all those extra grams of sugar only makes things worse as I get restless.
I also get severe anxiety when I drink anything with caffeine and a lot of sugar sometimes, as you know soda has both of those. lol
I used to drink like 4 cups of large coffee from the store when I was addicted and used to work, I was wondering why I had so many panic attacks and problems. lol It sucks because I can't really seem to have any caffeine, otherwise I have to get ready for a hours long ride of anxiety and crashing. It was fine when I was younger but I seem to be less tolerant as I get older.
I don't mind the taste of coffee once in a while but rarely drink it anymore. I used to use it to stay awake all the time, that's why I drank so much. lol
For me it was usually a toss up between Dr Pepper and Pepsi, then sometimes a cherry variation of Pepsi or Coke. I was into Mt Dew for a time but got to the point where I could only drink it on occasion. I could chug Mt Dew White (grapefruit I think) though. It's been so long since I've had a soda I don't know how I would handle it. I tried one of those flavored sparkling drink things recently and the carbonation kind of burned. I don't want to restart my soda habit.
