As a urologist, you should also know that males have a natural release valve that doesn't need to be intentionally triggered.

Also, studies are actually mixed. One study of 800+ men found that those who frequently masturbated in their 20s and 30s actually had an increased risk of prostate cancer.

No, you don't. There are unintentional ways to get rid of excesses.

It's necessary for males past puberty to ejaculate. He makes a statement that is not true. If you need to ejaculate, you will by having a wet dream. I think we both know, you will with 100% certainty that you will not die from abstinence.

A team of doctors led by Dr. Graham Giles published a study in 2003 that found that males who ejaculated most often when they were young had the least incidence of prostate cancer later.
Cancer is caused by a multitude of unhealthy habits formed and maintained throughout the life. It can also be the cause of some strong emotional disturbances.

Cancer is the way your body tells you: You need to make a change. You need to fix this mess. It's another life lesson one must learn, or else he will pay with his life.

The society conditioned us to believe that we can only overcome cancer by poisoning our bodies with chemiotherapy. How much sense does it make to bombard your body with deady toxines when it's in such a weak state of living? Do your research, cancer is a lifestyle based illness.

The government can do anything to brainwash the society. I don't think faking some studies is a challenge for them.

Yes and as a urologist, wet dreams don't happen nearly enough to offset the amount of sperm men produce. You would be hurting yourself to rely on your body to do everything for you when this isn't the case.

The government has incredible power over society yes, but the government has no incentive to fake studies about prostate cancer.

Wet dreams dont happen enough to offset the amount of sperm men produce. And you are correct abstinence will not kill you but it sure will hurt you later in life.

If you would like to make a bold claim on how cancer is made from emotional distress please cite because I cant find a single credible study.

Now i'm not well versed with cancer but i know enough to know that it is not caused by mental distress but more caused by genetics and/or poor habits (like smoking)

To me it looks like you haven't done any research because chemo is the use of any drug on a patient with cancer for a curative intent. These drugs you may consider to be poisons pretty much are. But the difference between a program and a virus is that one is malicious and one is not. That means if you want to get rid of the virus (cancer) in your body you might have to get a false positive tool (chemo) to get rid of the virus.

Many factors can lead to cancer,
and there's actually conflicting evidence about the role of abstinence. There are too many variables needed to control, and there hasn't been enough rigid testing to prove a causation which, in the world of statistics, many EXPERIMENTS (NOT observations, which many studies were) are needed to find a causation, each with every single controllable variable being carefully regulated.

At this point, it's nothing more than a correlation, such as these.

  11. It feels like you might be searching for reasons to keep fapping, I tried so hard to find research so I could justify my addiction in the past, as much as I can agree that PMO is worse then MO I just know that MO has negative effects one of em being PMO eventually.

Never found any evidence the back that article up, also think it might not be good to post things like these in a forum of addicts, cause a lot of people here are just begging for that one reason to get a release.

Not entirely sure who you are talking to but my stance being these on PMO:
Porn gives an unrealistic point of view to the consumer and in turn raises the real life bar to an obscene amount.
Masturbation in moderation (up to your specific situation) is a healthy way to release excess fluid and shouldn't be as frowned upon as it is here.
Orgasm is just the end result of masturbation.

As for the final bit there, I strongly believe people have to power to change them selves for the better or for the worse. My job here is to share some of my knowledge as a urologist with credible sources, facts and safety advice in a completely non-biased way. You have the power to do what you want and if you disagree with me then i perfectly understand. Addicts are here to seek help and rehabilitation and the one way to do that is to share facts in a transparent manor, just remember that when you are on here. : )

  14. Agreed, but evidence is hard to find. Pretty sure I can find an article that says staring directly into the sun will give you superpowers.

  15. WHAT! they are here to seek help? who knew, this is news to me, why didn't anyone tell me this. Hey, no need to be condescending, I for one love facts but none has been shown. Post was directed at OP btw.

I would love to see more trails done on abstinence because it really is a lacking area that should be looked into more than it is. I agree, many factors lead to cancer and i'm by no means an expert on cancer so don't take what i say in regards to that as 100 percent true.

2 years later: Thats not that smart. You cant prevent stds with protection. Only by abstaining or masturbation by yourself

  20. I personally think this is stupid. I think it's some kind of attempt to keep men demasculinized and weak. Yeah, masturbation is healthy, but for people like us, it's best to lay off it.

    Stay woke.
